Pours, appears, tastes, and feels like a tripel. Usually a saison will have a more crisp feel and dry finish, and this is sweet and sticky and wet from the first to the last. As a tripel, it is enjoyable, but not one I'd go back to, as it lacks the depth and complexity of a westmalle or karmeliat. The sticky finish lingers nicely, though.

Very solid saison. No risks taken which is a bit ironic given the name. I don't want to sound like it is not worth trying because it is, but I also don't want to be oversold.
