Witness the tremendous power of the American hop assault empowered to Imperial proportions. A vast and mighty double dry hop marshals all the citrus, pine, and floral notes possible toward a crisp, bright finish.

I got a can of this beer from my good friend and old neighbor from the 'Wego. It poured a clear copper with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had dank bitter citrus notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet malt base and bitter citrus and pine resin presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer .

16oz can. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of bubbly foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of orange, pineapple, toasted caramel and pine. Sweet fruity taste with orange, toasted caramel and a piney bitterness.

Appearance: Pours a clear, caramel to honey whiskey appearance with a mild white head. SRM of 15. (3.75)

Aroma: Strong aromas of orange citrus, nectarine, resinous pine. Sweet caramle notes behind this. (3.50)

Flavor: Moderate but largely sweet flavors of sewet grapefruit, nectarine, pine syrup. Syrupy, malty, and sweet after that to finish it off. Minimal bitterness detect among the sweet nectar. (3.50)

Feel: Heavier-bodied, thick, sweet, syrupy and sticky on the the palate. (2.75)

Compared to Surly Abrasive 12/2022: Pours a darker color, milder aromas. More nectarine, sweet malt. Less citrus, tropical fruit and even pine. Heavier, sweeter, boozier. Winner: Surly

Overall: A huge and sweet malt bomb here. Tons of nectarine, resinous flavors and sweet. Nearly completely loses all of the good aspects of Anti-Hero. This IPA is a great reason why I don't like imperial IPAs. Overly malted and sweet and loses all of the flavor, drinkability, and bitterness from what was supposed to be present. This beer is described as crisp on the website and is anything but that. This is the Anti to Anti-Heroes. (Rating: 3.39)

Clear amber colored pour, off white head vanishes quickly but leaves some spotty lacing. Nose is mostly caramel malts, maybe a hint of pine, flavors match, finishes sweet. Not as good as the plain old Anti-Hero.

A - Medium to dark copper in color with a dense cream colored layer of foam and moderate carbonation.

S - Sweet caramel malt with some sticky, spicy pine over the top.

T - Sweet biscuity caramel malt base with spicy citrus and peppery citrus rind over the top.

M - Big medium body with a dry alcohol finish on the back end.

O - This beer is approaching two months old and is still holding a potent spicy citrus resiny punch.

Pours an effervescent honey/copper color with a pinky of ivory colored head. Pretty good lacing & almost above average head retention

S: Bready, a little pine, some citrus once warm

T: Bready, piney with caramel, a little grapefruit, some biscuitty malt notes too up front. Piney, dry with grapefruit & a little cakeyness, caramel & woody hops as this beer warms up. Finishes cakey, piney with a little grapefruit

MF: Medium body/chewy with creamy carbonation, nice balance

Drinks super easy, ABV is deceptive, old school West Coast leaning Imp IPA
