A - crystal clear golden orange in a tulip. 1 stream of carbonation from the bottom.

S - citrus and grapefruit strong hops. Delightfully complex. Some very light malts on the nose as well.

T - amazing. The rye and the hops balance in a wonderful combination that make this beer world class. I am reminded of a better version of 3F rye da tiger. I could drink this all day. The malt comes through but the beer finishes with an exquisite bitterness that keeps you coming back.

M - carbonation is right on. Mouthfeel is good.

O - one of the best beers I've had in a while. It would stand up well to some very good hoppy beers. Happy to have had it on draft at the brewery.

On draft into tulip glass at Revolution Taproom. Outstanding Rye IPA - the hops shine here whilst taking some of the spiced notes from the rye backend.

Served in a mug club mug at Revolution 4/8/12. Thanks to HeatherAnn, pops, and Roman for the assist!

A: Served a bright and clear mango-orange color. Sitting on top is 1 1/2 fingers of off-white foam that retains for quite a while and left a bunch of lace behind.

S: I was expecting a face full of spicy rye but was totally surprised by how tropical this smelled. Pineapple, mango, and grapefruit with a hint of rye as it warmed.

T: See above. Quite tropical when first served before slowly gaining a bit of spice.

M: Slick and oily with the requisite rye spice towards the end of the glass.

O: Completely enjoyable. Had to have two!
