A citrusy and refreshing Belgian-style pale ale hopped with Cascade, Citra, and whole Crystal hops for massive aromas and flavors! Fermented with our Belgian Wit yeast for an extra dose of complexity, this one is very drinkable and extremely aromatic.

Crystal-clear golden body; well-distributed carbonation bubbles; thick head, dense, frothy, semi-creamy. Outstanding aroma; light malt backbone with a citrus and spicy hop overtone; light pine sap. The taste amps up the aroma characteristics; honey-like malt taste; citrus and pine flavors; moderate overall bitterness. Heavy body; beautiful residual sugar stickiness; delicate coarseness on the palate.

This is just a beautiful beer. The can label partially states: 'Exceptionally Aromatic' -- I cannot argue this point. Now, I need to track down a fresher version...

So, Revolution is paying homage to Orval with this one? Awesome. I’m always down to try something from Revolution, and it’s cool that they’re brewing this classic style. Let’s crack it open and see if it can stand up to the gold standard of the style

Pours a mostly clear orange gold with 2 fingers of fluffy off white hear that slowly fades to a cao and leaves decent lacing

The nose leans heavily into the fruity esters and I’m perfectly fine with that. I’m picking up on aromas of overripe banana, lemon zest, bubblegum, earthy wheat, bready malt, orange zest, light clove, and floral hops

It’s less sweet in taste, but also does feel as defined as the aroma. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting bready malt, clove, black pepper, lemon zest, floral hops, light banana, and orange zest. The swallow brings notes of bready malt, black pepper, overripe banana, honey, earthy hops, lemongrass, and clove

A medium body pairs with moderate carbonation, resulting in a slick beer. Finishes dry and spicy

Well it’s no Orval, but this is damn tasty regardless

A nice clear golden pour, nice eggshell colored head leaves some spotty lacing. The aroma from the yeast stands out, some fruit is noticable. Crisp, clean and easy drinking.

Had on tap. Murky bronze pour with a white head and plenty of lacing. Yeah this is a delightful classic in the making. The fact that I have lived in chicagoland for years and am now just trying this is a tragedy! It takes the old world floral yeast but bring new world hops without losing the script along the way. Nose has a heavenly combo of fruity hops, banana, and belgian yeast. Taste is this plus light bubblegum, thought the nose was cleaner. Feel is yeast, airy, artful, and pleasant with soft waves meeting hop bitter defining the body. Perfect spring time porch beer

Pours out of the can a crystal clear orange-gold with 2 fingers of head when poured on the rougher side into a glass. Pretty decent retention. Smells yeasty, spicy, and maybe clove? Taste follows the nose, with a lingering bitterness on the tail end. This beer is a breath of fresh air to be honest, quite unique in a world surrounded by lagers and IPAs.

Less sweet than I was expecting given the "belgo" implications. A little let down. Taste more of a musty ipa than a yeasty estery fermented ipa that I was hoping for.

Canned 1/10/22; drank 2/7/22 @ the Yarchives.

See-through dull orange appearance.

An even pour yielded a big off-white head; a thick curtain of lace.

Allspice, banana & soft wheat notes in the nose.

Medium mouthfeel.

Allspice & banana flavors up front; soft wheat notes on the finish. A nice Belgian pale!

Gorgeous hoppy foggy pour. A delicious pale and served on tap at the right temperature to allow the look and mouth feel to really shine. Recommend for pale lovers of medium pale hops.

12 oz can into a pint glass. Pours a crystal clear straw color with a robust dense foamy head that left honeycombs of lace on the side of the glass. Pretty powerful aroma on this one - lots of Belgian yeast and floral sweetness. Taste is more balanced than the sweet smell would indicate. Just the right amount of bitterness and spice to counter the sweet. Medium-bodied, creamy mouthfeel makes this one drinkable and enjoyable.
