Served in a tulip glass at the brewery. Review from quick written notes.

Crystalline straw color, bright clarity with visible carbonation. Tight cap of white foam that leaves behind a little bit of lacing, spotty and irregular. Ok head retention, wasn't a whole lot to begin with though.

Lightly grainy and floral, subdued yeast esters lend a little indistinct fruitiness.

Some slight pleasant tartness, simple earthy grains and mild lemon peel. Clean and somewhat dry and grainy finish. Exceptionally crisp and clean, this is a refreshing Belgian Singel intended to be paired with food.Tried all the replicale versions recently in Oak Park, and this one was 3rd behind Three Floyds and Blind Pig. Simplicity is underrated.

Poured from tap into a 5oz taster at the Brewpub. Pours a clear straw color with a small head.

Aromatic and fresh with aromas of lemon zest, spices and white fruits. Not much depth, but refreshing.

Light feel that is lacking a bit. It is crisp with notes of lemon zest and spices. Fairly simple with the flavors as well.

This is a decent brew. Not up to their normal levels, but it isn't bad either. It is refreshing and easy drinking.

On-tap at the brewery. Served in a 5oz taster.

A - White foam quickly sizzles to a thin partial ring. Very, very pale transparent straw yellow body. Looks a bit like a light lager of some sort.

S - Smells like bread, slightly fruity yeast, cereal grains, and a bit of floral and grassy hopping.

T - Taste is pretty similar, with a mild phenolic yeast note mid-palate but otherwise mostly grain and perhaps the lightest kiss of lemon. Extremely clean finish for Belgian yeast.

M - Light bodied, with pleasant carbonation. Crisp, refreshing, and very easy to slam down after a heavy meal.

D - A decent Belgian-style table beer. You could drink this is large quantities, but it's not particularly exciting stuff. The concept behind this year's ReplicAle is interested, but Revolution's yeast is so clean that the end product is kind of dull.
