My expectations were not too high, its the Bronxs after all, but unfortunatly my hopes for another quality beer spot in the Bronx were dashed. The "highlights" were sixpacks of Brooklyn , Sierra Nevada, Blue Moon, and some dusty bombers from Stone and Lagunitas. Also more dusty bottles from Ommegang, Chimay and Duvel. Dusty being the operative word. They did have some glasses fom Leffe lying around and some "aged" Orval (bottled in 2006, best before 2010, I was tempted, but god knows how lovingly they they have been treated by the Throgs Neck boys these past few years) No reason to check this place out, unless you are very local. Much more BA worthy and fresher brew at Skibbo's. Actually wondering how this place even got listed here....

I listed it since it's in my neighborhood, closest place to me in fact. TN B&S is a shell of its former self. It changed ownership 2 years ago or so and prior to that it was a close second to Skibbos with a decent selection and good friendly service.

They still have some micro's on the shelf but it's clear that what moves in this place are the macros. The service is limited to getting change and a receipt for what you buy. Don't expect to get any beer questions answered. It's too bad since the place still has the potential to be competetive if the new ownership just took a little interest.
