"Revolution 002". Canned 6/22/16; drank 7/10/16 @ the Yarchives.
See-through orange/yellow appearance.
A rough pour yielded a big, noisy white head; thick, frothy lace.
Pine, mango & honey notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Pine & mango flavors up front; a sharp, bitter finish.
Um, I thought these were supposed to taste different; this is basically "Revolution 001" with less mango, more pine & more bitterness. Disappointing on a number of levels...

Bottom of the can stamped 06/14/16. This was poured into a becher pint glass. The appearance was a glossy burnt yellow color with a slight transparency about it. A rocky white foamy head starts and moderately dissipates at a nice pace. Subtle messy foamy lacing weaves around the glass. The aroma takes on sweet grassy blending with subtle citrus sweet and bitter rind. Sweet pulp, turns to grapefruit over pine as it warms. The flavor takes in all of the previously mentioned flavors to boot into the aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a semi-sticky bittersweet feel hitting my tongue. Overall, I’d say really great stuff, I think I’d rather have this over 001, at least for me.

Pours a clear gold with a white head. Smells of hops, citrus, and other fruits. Tastes of slightly bitter hops, citrus, and sweet fruits. Medium and resinous body with medium carbonation. Overall this is an absolutely delicious IPA>
