Prodigiously hopped yet nimbly brewed with pilsner malts, Adversus ultimately achieves the improbable: a big, bold IPA made for summertime sipping. A hard-charging blend of Pacific Northwest hops leads the way, loading the nose with notes of stone fruit, pineapple, mango and earthy pine resin. Meanwhile, the use of traditional pilsner malts adds levity and dryness to the palate, allowing for a refreshing texture through the finish. The result is a double IPA that is high on hop aromas, balanced in bitterness and perfect for the long, warm days of summer.

Draft at PreFunk. Clear golden, small tight head. Looks slick, and it is. Dank resinous aroma builds to a much more robust taste. Hoppy AF. Taste buds are left tingling, but not burning.

A thanks to the captain of the canquest, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has an orange color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of lemons, some melon and herbal notes. Taste is the same as the aroma, light dankness, a solid malt backbone, moderate bitterness. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is an enjoyable beer.

Pours a slightly hazed gold with a big creamy cap. Immediately I get melon notes with a hint of white grape on the back end. Starts off light, with a mild bitterness and rounded effervescence. However there's a sweet and sticky finish that lets you know it is a dipa.

Pours a lovely hazy amber with a gorgeous, long lasting white head. Aromas of pine & peaches. Taste is mild bitterness, salty with a hint of sweetness. Pine is the dominant flavor followed with peach, plum & citrus. Excellent carbonation & feel. IPA’s are not my favorite & difficult for me to evaluate. I don’t care for the bitter finish but other than that, it’s pretty good.
