Revolution No. 007 marks the second time that Luponic Distortion has dipped down into the Southern Hemisphere for its lead hops, following the South African hops that set the tone for Revolution No. 004 last year.
“The hop intensity level on Revolution No. 007 is high,” says Brewmaster Matt Brynildson. “The primary Australian hop is loaded with this bright, citrusy Sauvignon Blanc character, and the other two hops round it out with classic Southern Hemisphere qualities.”

Poured into a Lost Abbey Teku glass canned on 9/1/17. Pours a yellow orange with a nice 2 finger sticky white head that leaves spotty lace.
Smell is mellon, tangerine, passion fruit, pine, and grapefruit rind.
Taste follows honeydew, pine, passion fruit, and grapefruit.
Mouthfeel is almost medium, plenty of life, maybe a little dry, and excellent drinkability.
Overall very solid, not sure if it tastes any different than all the others, but I will crush these happily.

Taster at Growler Guys. Beautiful pour, pale golden, small tight head. Aroma and taste are very subdued, light. Pale ale? This is a stretch for an IPA. Not much substance.

Bottom half of the 7 Luponics I've had. Not incredible - stopped buying these.

10/30/18...pale bronze, still after the fact and fizzy white foam. Some lacing. Malty, pilsy smell. Some citrus. Subtle hop bitter open, smooth. Quick black peeper burst. Simple and tasty.

The James Bond edition?
Pours as expected, crystalline clear with a billowy white cap of foam. Light aroma, with a strong bitterness and a long afterfinish. There's some pine sap and a sweet tropical fruit note on this.

12oz can
Pours a big, fluffy finger of white head into my tulip. Slowly fizzing. The body is orange, with a very small amount of bubbles coming up. As per usual with this series, the body is very see through. Head retention is ok. Looks fine so far.
The nose on this is just fantastic. It's bursting with fresh melon. Melon, melon, and more melon. Smells slightly sweet, and a tad sticky - the ladder being primarily from the hops. While a little sticky, it's still smells extremely refreshing. A fantastic nose.
The flavor is certainly more down to earth than the nose, i.e. it's not quite as good. A little fruity, but not even close to what the nose had going on. A pretty noticeable lemon zest coming mid way through the palate. Gets a little bit dank towards the end. Finishes with a mildy unfortunate grainy aftertaste, not a very big deal though. It's certainly more complex than the nose, so it has that going for it. With the exception if a few flavors, it's a pretty smooth, soft IPA, which is not necessarily a good or bad thing. Though, this borders on too little flavor at times. While it's nowhere near as good as the nose, this is still a tasty beer.
The carbonation is about medium here, but overall the beer does not have a very lively mouth to it. Not much of a hop bite or anything of that nature. The body itself is pretty thin, and quite soft and smooth. It's an ok mouthfeel, but for a light IPA light this, I would appreciate a little more action.
The drinkability is very high. It's a light, tasty beer. It goes down with no problem.
Overall a good beer here. The nose was kinda hard to live up to, but it's still a good brew.
The appearance turned out decent I guess. The head retention was ok, but the lacing was hardly there at all.
