First off, super cool can - great graphics but as we say: you don't drink graphics. So on the can it says hints of mango, peach and grapefruit, I kinda wish they would have just chose one fruit to highlight cuz the overall smell and taste is a non-descript hoppy fruity effect. Not a bad beer but basically a lateral move from the original Luponic Distortion. It's a bit like Fast and Furious, first was great but the 800 million sequels to follow were meh. Don't get me wrong I ain't hatin on Firestone Walker - just keep your expectations in check when you read the can.

What you see is exactly what you get! You feel all of those that is written az “hints of”: the mango, the peach and the red grapefruit - how do they do it? I understand that this is made with special Northwestern hops but the true mastery lies in creating such a fruity beer without any kind of fruits (although this is common in the craft beer world). This one is truly citrusy (really citrusy, my wife loves it for it!) in the aroma and follows in the taste as well, reminds me mostly of grapefruits with the bitter white bits left in the juice. It is truly refreshing and does not get overly bitter with it warming up. Light and carbonated and easy to drink. Would be great for a summer evening but does just as well on this late April night.

Copper with a hint of haze, little slow rising carbonation, and 3 fingers of rocky white head.

Smells of caramel, creme brulee, orange and some dankness.

The taste follows the nose and adds a bunch of fruit. Its like a fruit salad of fresh cut oranges, grapefruit, mango, peach and papaya. It ends in a solid bitter note.

Medium body with moderate to low carbonation.

I got this in Sacramento at World Market, and am drinking it in Redding, Feb 11th, 2019. Great hop profile.

Single can - Canada so arrives 3 months old. Pours a nearly clear golden yellow with 1+ finger white head. Aroma is amazing - like sticking your nose in a ripe red grapefruit with a tinge of sweat and a hint of mango.
Taste does not quite match the aromatic intensity; mildly bitter grapefruit, a touch of creamsicle (I think generic, not the brand name), faintly peachy - really easy to drink but not the punch I expected.
Slightly thin mouthfeel, carbonation just a little less than ideal. Leaves with a touch of piney hop bitterness. Very decent - though the aroma wins the day.

Hasn't tried a luponic distortion for awhile, but glad I came back to this one. Effervescent, fruity and soft in feel. The grapefruit, peach, pear, mango and sweet melon fill the taste with soft kisses of bitter hops on the finish. Smell is like a tropical fruity yogurt.

Golden with significant head and good lacing. Not hazy, not clear. Nose is mostly mango and light. Flavor is as advertised, with creamy mango, peach, and red grapefruit. The finish is quite dry and astringent and not in a pleasant way. Since the body is a little thin and dry, it doesn’t seem to complement the flavor profile. Tasty, but not quite right.

-pours a hazy golden with a medium, foamy, white head
-medium carbonation visible
-medium carbonation
-light body
The "Luponic Distortion" beers have never disappointed.
This is a tropical hop blast.I'd like a longer finish though and a bit more body.

Looks fairly weak, the malt certainly is not going to get into the way, but has a nice head and leaves nice lacing down the glass. Smells great but again is a little weak. I get tropical fruit, citrus, and tea. Strong tea flavor but otherwise, again weak. Notes of tropical fruit. Light body but properly carbonated.

Poured from a can dated 8/29/18 into the pint glass.
A - Fabulous clarity, carbonation dances top side. A quick to leave white froth caps the offering.
S - Peach, creamsicle, a touch of grapefruit and some balsam.
T - Follows the aromatics quite well, with a solid malt base to keep things balanced.
M - Medium in body, semi sweet start, moves on with a nice bitter wave. Finish is clean and toward the dry side.
O - A very well done offering from FW. Flavors are as advertised and quite delicious. The balance is just wonderful

De En copa Teku. Jugando a Avernum 6. Intenso perfil de frutas, sobre todo melocoton y mango, con alguna nota lactica que puede recordar a helado como se anuncia en la lata

Picked up a single from the Craft Beer Hop Stop cooler 9-7-18 for $1.49. Cold stored since purchase. Canned on 8-15-18; consumed on 12-17-18.

Beer poured golden with a nice white head that has some decent hangtime.

Nose has hints of grapefruit and peach with some orange dreamsickle.

Taste is peach forward initially with grapefruit and orange taking over the front of each sip. Finish is a citrus rind bitterness.

Mouthfeel is light and refreshing.

Overall a nice variant of the Revolution series.

L- pours light golden with 2 inch white head that lingers around the glass and as a thin layer on top of the beer. Clear and transparent.
A- faint citrus and grain.
T- very crisp and light. Some creamy peach and orange, grapefruit peel, turns to big malts on the finish. Not very floral or citrusy for an IPA. Some bitterness throughout. Notes of resin and pine.
F- decent carbonation, medium feel.
O- I liked this beer the more I drank it. Could easily have three or four while eating or watching sports. I consider this a decent alternative to All Day IPA. It would be great on a hot day. I’d say give it a try. It probably won’t blow your mind, but it kind of grows on you and becomes addictive when six are in in the cooler.

Firestone Walker Brewing Co. "Luponic Distortion IPA Series No. 10"
12 fl. oz. can, "CANNED ON 06/26/1809:51" and sampled on 12/01/18
$1.83 @ Cherry Hill Liquor, Wine & Beer (Wegmans), Cherry Hill, NJ

So here we are at #10. I'm almost 6 months behind on this one, it seems I never find these fresh, even in cases. Oh well. It's poured a slightly hazy golden body beneath a three finger-thick head of off-white that quickly dropped back to two, and then settled into one. Nice. I'll assume the slight haze is from dry-hopping so I can't fault it there. Am I remembering this correctly, the base beer is always the same? Anyway, the aroma isn't as strong as some. It's fruity, mainly with notes of orange, but also some peach and other tropical fruits. On to the flavor... ahhh, very nice, I wasn't sure what they meant by "peach ring" and "mango creamsicle" on the label but now I get it, there's a kind of soft sweetness to it that resembles fruit mixed with cream or vanilla. It's the opposite of bright and sharp fruitiness although the fruit is still there. It's unusual for sure. I've never had a beer quite like this. Do I like it better than a crisp, bright, seemingly more acidic fruity beer though? I don't know. I'm still mainly getting peach and orange, although I see the mango as well. I'd even say papaya; I don't get a whole lot of grapefruit though, just a splash. It's nice. It somehow seems relaxing. As usual, the bitterness isn't overdone but has a definite presence, coming out in the finish. In the mouth it's medium bodied and gently crisp-then-smooth. Looking back there's some very nice lacing about the glass, and I still have a solid, creamy surface covering. I like it but it's definitely not my favorite out of the series, not that I remember which of them that might have been, but I do prefer a clearer, sharper fruitiness. Still, that's not a fault, just my personal preference. It's really well made and put together. Worth trying!

Can from the Beermongers.

A clear orange with a dense white head with good retention and lacing this looks great. The nose is intensely aromatic with wonderful notes of mango, grapefruit, peach, a little papaya, Valencia orange and a little pine. Back to the basics, this smells like a classic west coast IPA. The palate opens with a blend of grapefruit zest, grapefruit bitterness and a little citrus. This is followed by flavors of peach, mango, papaya and fresh squeezed O.J. The mid palate has a touch of dry, cracker malt present. Drying, bitter on the finish, this beer is light in body and moderately carbonated. Flavors of mango and grapefruit linger on into the finish, with a pleasant bitterness. This is quite excellent.

Poured from 12oz can into glass. Canning date is stamped as '09/04/18'.
Clear, gold colored body. One finger of white head upon pouring settles back to thick cap. Lacing is left from this pullback.
Aroma of mango, peach, and grapefruit.
Taste is less sweet than suggested by the smell. Initial flavor is the sweetest, with the mango. The bitter grapefruit arrives on the back of the flavor profile. The peach is less distinct but does float by now and again. Has citrus rind in the after taste.
The mouth feel is medium plus and does have a creamy aspect. Very good carbonation.
This is more of a West Coast IPA with a softer mouth feel. Quite tasty and sessionable.

This one lives up to the hype with big notes of citrus and sugary grapefruit and wheat notes in both nose and flavor. The texture is a little gritty but ultimately no concern. Not an everyday IPA for me but different and worth a try.

12oz can - 'mango creamsicle' sure sounds like a pretty enjoyable dessert!

This beer pours a mostly clear, pale golden yellow colour, with three chubby fingers of puffy, rocky, and mildly fizzy off-white head, which leaves some splotchy flock of seagulls pattern lace around the glass as it very lazily recedes.

It smells of gritty and grainy cereal malt, underripe mango and stone fruit notes, some stoney flintiness, and leafy, weedy, and somewhat dank piney green hop bitters. The taste is bready and biscuity pale malt, some muddled exotic fruitiness, further domestic citrus rind, a damp minerality, and more earthy, herbal, and resinous piney hoppiness.

The carbonation is average in its palate-supporting frothiness, the body a so-so medium weight, and generally smooth, with nothing really getting in the way of a swell time at this particular juncture. It finishes trending dry, the hops showing the most lingering esprit de corps.

Overall - this comes across as a very flavourful version of the style, complex and compelling. What I don't get, per se, is the specific metrics promised on the label, but that's ok, everybody's mileage does indeed vary. Easy to put back, and certainly worth checking out, IMHO.

Three month old can, givingbit the benefit of the doubt. Slightly hazy gold, limited amount of lacing and carb. Sweet smell of peach and grapefruit, bit of hoppiness. Taste is mildly fruity with the above flavors, slightly tart, hint of bitterness. Crisp, clean, okay balance, low abv makes it easy drinker. Not the best of the series, not the worst.

Served in a pint from the bottle.

Appearance: Deep gold color coming off transparent with medium to heavy bubbles.

Smell: Light malts with a piney note. Sticks to your nose.

Taste: Bitter complex consisting of grapefruit skin and juices. It's a touch sweet but not for everybody.

Mouth: Sticky brew with medium carbonation which maintains till the end of the glass.

Overall: Nice brew and great pick up. Will grab again if I can catch the variety pack it came in. Salud!

From the bottle, it pours a clear golden amber with a modest head, slowly diminishing to a patchy layer, but it does leave a good bit of lace. Very pleasant, hoppy scent. Very pleasant, enjoyable hoppy taste. Yum!

Pours a pale clear Amber with a white head that leaves copious amounts of lace.

Mango, peach, grapefruit, floral bouquet, and malt biscuit.

Taste is hoppy fruit up front - peach, mango, grapefruit - backed by a dry floral hoppiness. Towards the back end is a chewy malt biscuit backbone.

I enjoyed this from the can chilled in a glass
the color is golden with white head, lace clings with good retention clarity is clear
The smell is a mix of fruity, tropical and somewhat herbal with mostly citrus hop scents.
The feel is very good with a moderately bitter texture with low malt and moderate carbonation with lightly sweet and spicy quality.
The taste is very good, fresh herbal hop flavor with a gentle grapefruit type hop and subtle spice-like character mild resinous element with a light tropical taste and low malt in the taste with dry finish with practically no alcohol in the flavor
This is a great IPA, I would drink this frequently as it has a good amount of hop aroma and flavor yet is a good strength with little alcohol to obstruct the hops

The beer pours a nice white head that dissipates very quickly. The beer itself is a nice clear golden yellow with an orange hue to it. It looks decent.

The smell is pretty good with a good grapefruit note surrounded by a peach cream and orange note.

The taste is also pretty good with the same note but with a bit more bitterness from the grapefruit.

The feel is good. It has a good medium body with a good and light carbonated tingle and a slightly dry finish.

Overall, a pretty good IPA worth getting and a good take that isn't a milkshake-NE-cloudy IPA.

Kind of a boring beer.

Had it from tap. Cloudy yellow color with a good head and lacing. Sort of a lemon smell. Piney taste, some lemon. Some bitterness. Meh.
