Pours an effervescent & not so hazed gold with a thumb of pearl colored head. A little head retention & lacing

S: Pineapple & coconut, some leafy hops once warm

T: Follows the nose, very lightly, some dryness & lime notes as well up front. More coconut, pineapple & light grassyness as this warms. Finishes a little dry with some pineapple & grassyness

MF: Light/medium body, crisp carbonation , good balance

I liked this a lot more than I thought I would. I usually loathe Low Calorie IPAs, not sure I would buy this much, but would never say no to one

Easy drinking session hazy light on the fruit but just enough hops to enjoy.

Hazy, bright gold pour, substantial white cap head. Everything said here should be through the prism of a low calorie beer--obviously we're not talking about a beer that has the ceiling of a full calorie effort. That said, this is perhaps the best low-cal beer I've had. Two kettle hops, 4 dry hop varieties, 4 malts including oats, wheat and Munich, make this the most flavorful light beer I've had the pleasure of consuming. A mixture of tropical fruit and citrus is not meek. It comes at you, and leaves room for more thirst-quenching. Great effort!

DATE: February 20, 2022... OCCASION: more Office with the family as the Olympics conclude... GLASSWARE: Otto's pint... pours a sallow, murky, yellow body... its fluffy, craggy white head flatlines quickly to an uneven, sudsy layer that leaves a screen of smears... lemon zest, solid grapefruit, cracker, light hops, fragrant berries, and a bit of pepper... bitter to a reasonable degree, busy at the teeth, but it smooths out on the tongue before it refreshes at the throat... a bit thin, but as the ABV suggests, a worthwhile quality of the genre.... the pineapple and lemon are realized, while the pine is not so.... I don't find most of these session IPAs to hit--I would rather crush lagers or pilsners at this weight--and this kind of sits among the recent throng... still, a beer at 96 calories has its place...

12oz can from the variety pack

Very cloudy, big white cap of foam. Smell is lemon/grapefruit hops, faint malt, sorta perfume-y. Taste is pretty light as expected, it tries to be an IPA but it lacks the bite and big feel, much closer to a pale ale if you ask me... it's pretty damn good considering it's only 96 calories, but if you're not grading on a curve it's just OK. The hops are too perfume-y and restrained, but whatever, the 96 calories is impressive all things considered, and it drinks above the 96 cal and 4%

Sometimes I want a more mild ale, but am still craving hops... so in that regard - mission accomplished

I'm not sure of the beer style? Light beer 96 cal. IPA? no but it's cloudy. I think they brew this to cheaply fill in 3 beers in a mixed pack. Not very good.

1) smell of perfume
2) extremely neutral malt flavor, think Michelob Ultra
3) cloudy as all getup

Very pale and appropriately hazy, with an airy and quickly fading head. Fruity, citrusy hop notes in the aroma--fairly light. Very dry tasting beer, no detectable malt at all. Bitterness is only moderate, and while there is some citrusy hop flavor, it's restrained at best. Body is light, almost thin.

Very little to this beer. I guess it's probably easy drinking, but it's also very forgettable.
