A dangerously drinkable Double IPA. Double Jack opens up with bright grapefruit and tangerine American hop aromas. Beautifully crafted undertones of stone fruit are revealed upon first sip, followed by the essence of blue basil and pine. A sturdy pale and crystal malt backbone brings balance to high hop intensity. Complex and aggressively hopped, and flawlessly balanced.

Deep gold color with a nice, white head. The aroma brings citrus, pine, and caramel malt, giving it that polished, old‑school IPA warmth. The flavor is classy and hop‑forward, driven by bright bitterness and anchored by a strong, steady malty backbone. Bold, clean, awesome!

Poured from a 16oz can into a Waterford IPA glass. Pours a slightly foggy golden orange with a beautiful white foam head of about two fingers. Orange citrus, bitter pine and ripe melon on the nose and taste. Way too easy drinking for 9.5%. Full mouthfeel. Really good DIPA.

No date on can but from the February release, so a little old, into a Spiegelau IPA glass.

Pours a dark, clear gold with huge, persistent white foam. Aroma is grapefruit rind, pine, and BOOZE. This one smells really boozy for some reason. No booze on the flavor though. This one is a crispy, huge hop bomb. I can tell the flavors have faded a little, but they're so intense I can still tell this one rips. Tons of grapefruit rind and rosemary alongside pine and a very smooth, extended bitterness on the finish. Shockingly, I get a lot of orange peel and a little amber malt but not a ton. This one moves from stone fruit and grapefruit up front to just piney bitterness on the back and finishes shockingly crisp and clean. I wouldn't call it insanely complex but it is really clean and well done. There's nothing to hide here at all, just a solid malt backbone and aggressive hop flavors with a shockingly high drinkability for intense it is. Feel is good, very much like a standard old school IPA, but with a much higher body. This is a really big beer that ends up drinking like a slightly heavier pale ale. I'm going to try to finish this one as fast as possible due to the age on it, which is really easy considering how smooth and flavorful it is.

Overall, great flavors. A little too old, but I can tell this is an incredible beer. It's just stupidly drinkable for what it is and still very intense. It's not too fruity and not too bitter, and the malt sits on the back end to support the big hops. Huge fan of this thing.

Double Jack has a clear, bubbly, gold appearance, with some lacing. The aroma is of white bread crust and hop resin. The flavor is of hop oil, pine resin, white bread, and a bit 'o honey. Double Jack has a heavy body and a mostly-dry finish.

Very clear, golden in color with frothy white head. Nose is definitely hoppy pineness wit citrus hints. Nice piney flavor with somewhat of a white peppery finish. Then a little bready flavor comes through but then bitterness.

Big. bold up front aroma and taste, but goes down easy. Amber color with nice creamy head, hoppy smell, and slick mouthfeel. This is how a double IPA should taste.

Yellowish color. Herbal aromas and flavor notes. Otherwise, a fairly average IPA. I'm not sure I understand the high marks this beer gets.
