Crystal clear yellow-orange body, billowing soapy white head that leaves some lace, ambient superfine carbonation. Such a sexy beer. Nose has some orange rind and white bread aromas. Not very inspiring, but still pleasant. Flavor tastes like the fluff of a loaf of Wonderbread that was soaked in orange juice, plus some sugary Froot Loops on the finish. Never quite sweet, and actually decently bitter initially. The powdered sugar note seems to be a motif in FW beers. Feel is delicate, fine and somewhat sissy carbonation with a fluid body, very drinkable.
This was aight. Not offensive in any manner, and acceptably tasty throughout, but it lacked real character. Forgettable, for better or for worse.

Pale 31 hit the spot for me after playing tennis. But, it does not stand out. FW makes some exceptional beers. But, Pale 31 is not one of them.

Appearance: Clean golden with a thick head of off-white suds, and wispy clouds of lace.

Aroma: Crisp grapefruit and citrus hops. Nice.

Taste: Definitely on the hoppy side of things, with plenty of grapefruit and pine notes. Key word here is balance, and Firestone Walker has hit that well, with malts playing carefully alongside the prominent hops profile. A super-smooth and easy-drinking American pale ale that’s really quite excellent. Bravo!

12oz. canned on 02-29-16

Pours clear golden amber orange with a frothy white foam head. Smells like orange marmalade, candied grapefruit, tangerine, some toffee, dark caramel, biscuity cracker, with earthy herby floral grass and pine. Tastes like orange marmalade, some biscuity crackery malts, toffee, dark caramel, tangerine, white grapefruit, lemony citrus peel, with dank earthy herbal grass and floral pine. Feels medium-light bodied, creamy and slick with low carbonation. Overall a nice pale ale.

Poured from a can with a canned on date of 6/16/16; into a pint glass.
Appearance - yellow gold with lots of bubbles that form a thin, bubbly, white head. Lacing is fairly weak.
Smell - doughy pale malts with traces of dank pine hops.
Taste - flavors are almost identical to the nose.
Feel - light and dry; hops provide a bitter finish.
Overall - this is a good, straight forward example of the style; no creativity really, so it's a little dull.

Pour is a clean yellow with decent foamy head. Smells of lemon and light fruit. Taste is refreshing hit of lemon/lime and very gentile fruit essence. Very clean finish and refreshing beer all around. First time tasting this beer and really enjoyed it, excellent summer beer for sure.

Pours a golden straw color with a big bubbled soapy white head that settled into a light cap.

The aroma is of light citrus hops, mainly grapefruit. Light bready aroma from the malt.

The taste is of a bready malt, perhaps slightly toasted. The hops are more grassy in the flavor. There is some grapefruit but not a lot. Light pine.

The beer has a solid mouthfeel. There is prickly carbonation. Good balance with a light earthy bitter finish.

A decent pale ale. Could use a bit more citrus type hops.
