Served from a 12 oz bottle into a goblet.

A - Crystal clear. Deepest copper color, almost chestnut but with more orange. Off-white head is a bit thin, but is made up of beautiful, miniscule, creamy bubbles. Nice lacing with the same bubbles.

S - Warm, bready malt with some dark crystal. Earthy British hops. A hint of spiciness, but not overly complex.

T - Crystal malt and some brown sugar initially. The balance then swings to hops with a bitter, somewhat acrid and metallic finish. The end of the palate reminds me of iced tea, which is not a plus for the beer.

M - Thin to medium body. Sparkling carbonation, moderate hops bitterness. Alcohol not noticeable.

O - Beer is easy to drink, but not as good as I remember when it was first released. My memory is of a creamy, smooth, authentic English-type ale. Today it is nothing special.
