22oz bottle into imperial pint. Bottled 11/5/14.

A: Pours a clear medium amber with a huge, billowing, greasy and thick off-white head that took forever to slowly fade into a dense and oily film. Patches of chunky lace were left down the glass.
S: The nose is a pleasant mixture of bready biscuit scented malt mixed with spicy and earthy hops. There’s a touch of caramel and a touch of roast, and the hops impart a noble, earthy, and spicy quality. There’s a faint herbal quality as well.
T: Crisp grainy malt backbone with just a kiss of caramel sweetness up front, followed by balancing spicy and earthy hops. The finish has a lightly sticky sweetness, and the aftertaste is herbal, slightly leafy, and just barely bitter.
M: Medium-light body with soft and fluffy carbonation that creates a smooth and easy drinking mouthfeel.
O: Flavors are light overall, clean, and very easy to drink. As far as EPA's go, this is pretty solid.

Disappointed on the ABV. The beer really is unique and flavorful. There is obvious pride with this recipe

Poured 12oz bottle into glass. 5% abv

Appearance- Cloudy and dark brown with a bit of a yellow tint to it. One finger head.

Smell- Sweet caramel malt, grainy.

Taste- Has a bready biscuit flavor followed by caramel malt sweetness, similar to the malt of an Oktoberfest. The finish is dry and bitter, yet still retains a touch of sweetness.

Mouthfeel- Medium in body, smooth with ample carbonation.

Overall- A good easy drinking beer that is on the sweet side. Very smooth and refreshing as well. Balance is also on point.
