Poured into a frosted pilsner glass. Look is golden brown with a thick creamy head. Smell is very slight malty. Taste is of malt, toffy sweetness and a hint of hops. Mouth is smooth and creamy with medium carbonation.

Thought this was a nicely balanced easy beer. Looks great and is pretty foamy. A little smoky and malty with medium fizz. Would buy again !

Totally clear brown-orange body, soapy eggshell head. Nose is pale malt with bread crust, strong with soap notes. Taste gives more of the same, pretty bland overall but at least balanced between that odd malty sweetness and downplayed bitterness. Finish hints at earthiness and spice. Body is slick, medium weight, with restrained, fine carbonation.
Someone, please tell me what is great about this beer. Honestly, send me a DM. The balance was there, but the actual aroma and flavor was milquetoast, boring, and simple. A flagship should be widely appreciable, but if played on the conservative side it mutates into the dull.

Sweet, caramelly, toasted malt dominates the aroma. There's a hint of floral hop character.

Flavor is similar, with a dry, oaky finish that lingers, becoming a bit overly tannic.

Copper colored with excellent clarity. There's an inch of dense creamy beige foam. Light lacing. Aroma is of bready malt. I taste bready malt and a light dose of English hops. The mouth is very smooth and lightly creamy.

Appearance: Clean amber, with off-white head. A little lace, but not so prominent.

Aroma: Seems malty with hints of the oak barrels and associated notes of vanilla and wood. Nice and different.

Taste: Nicely oaked, with a pleasant caramel malty flavor and an injection of citrusy hops in there. Supremely balanced, and a uniquely different (and delicious) take on the English pale ale.
