From EBF notes. Had a few pours of this one.
a - Pours a deep reddish brown color with one inch of off white head and moderate carbonation evident.
s - Smells of bourbon, caramel malts, some roasted malts, oak, vanilla, toffee, some sweet dark fruits, and toasted malts. Very nice; not quite what I was expecting from an amber ale.
t - Tastes of bourbon, roasted malts, caramel malts, toffee, vanilla, oak, toasted malts, grains, and bready malts. No fruit but sweet again. Reminds me of a BA barleywine.
m - Medium body and low carbonation. Body is super smooth and doesn't feel like it is 12% ABV.
o - Overall I really liked this one, as did the others I was with; was one of the highlights for me at the Saturday session. Was hesitant with a BA amber ale as I've had a few and not liked them, but this was great. Nice bourbon to it; reminded me more of a barleywine to be honest. Would love to see them bottle this sometime.

Had the single barrel #95 at the Buelton taproom. Very unique and a fantastic beer.
