12oz bottle, dated 01/27/16
A - fluffy white head holds good retention atop a crystal clear golden colored body
S - light pale malt, earthy hops, slightly vegetal
T - very light flavors: pale malt, some white wine-like fruitiness, earthy hops, slight nuttiness
M - light and refreshing, finishes dry and fairly crisp, enticing frequent sips while being excellently drinkable
O - nice to see someone brewing a blonde ale. It seems like a long time since I've had one. This one doesn't have anything special about it, but I'd drink it again if given the chance.

12oz bottle from 03/15, 10 months old. Pours crystal clear, light golden color. Highly carbonated.

Aroma of light malts, very crisp. Thin body, taste is crisp and malty with some sneaky bitterness to balance this out.

Overall, there is nothing remarkable, but its a crisp and refreshing blonde that goes well with a hot day.

This is a nice, light beer with flavor. Loses its head quickly, leaving a very clean looking, pretty almost amber color. I enjoyed it.

I don't know why I've waited so long to review this beer since out here on the west coast this is the go to blond ale. Pours a nice amber/yellow with a quickly dissipating head. Smells slightly fruity and tastes of very light hops, more pleasant malts with slight citrus flavours. Goes down way too smooth. Prost!

Pretty yellow beer, virgin white head. Aroma was grain. Mild.

Taste was again a very mild grain presence, easy drinking, hydrating beer. Its a solid alternative to a bmc lager. Not exactly flavor country, order it for your friend who isn't a beer drinker.

Not great, but it tastes smooth and refreshing with enough character to remind you it's a beer.

A: Faint malt that has a lightly sweet aroma with light floral hops.

A: Golden yellow color, totally clear, with a moderate white head that settles into a thin film over the glass.

T: Clean, moderate malty and sweet, with light floral hops. There is a light hop bitterness on the finish.

M: Light bodied with moderate carbonation. The beer is well attenuated and easy to drink.

O: Solid; pretty straight forward blonde that’s sessionable and certainly easy to drink.

One of the few American beers I've found which has flavor, yet is not overly hopped. The ABV is much lower than my norm, which is probably a good thing except I would probably just have another. At first I didn't notice citrus, but now it's more noticeable. I wish Optimator was still available at Trader Joe's!
-Let's string up the marketing bozos who think citrus belongs in beer.
