This is kinda bland although fine. I just look for something else when I see it.

Man, I was surprised how disappointing this beer was.

I'm a huge fan of Firestone beers. Love the Pivo Pills and the Double Jack. Some of the finest beers on the market IMHO.

All their marketing dollars go into the 805, so I figured that it would be on par with their others. Man, no way.

Thin, low on lacing, low head, just missing on taste. Too much carb and too much water. Bleh. I found it hard to finish a six pack over a week.

Maybe they're aiming for a sessionable beer for California's hotter weather. I guess it could work.

It's worth trying to see if your opinion differs, but I'm never going back to it.

Lots of carbonation in this gold, clear beer with a bubbly, quickly-dissolving head. Light to medium hints of wheat, orange-peel and pineapple. Not much on the front palate, malty finish. Light to medium weight. Not a ton going on with this beer, but it's balanced and smooth.

Anonymous and pedestrian but fine for what it is - crisp wheat malt, yeast adds a little depth with some pepper spice...not much beyond that but a harmless beer.

I had this beer on tap in a tall weizen glass at Perry's in San Francisco airport.

Appearance: medium golden hue with a tiny bit of haze and a strong effervescence. Head is a thin layer of ivory foam; not too bad.

Smell: a malty sweetness with a little dose of carbon dioxide. Not a ton going on here, but at least free of flaws.

Taste: sweet and grainy with a very light fruitiness. It's a pretty standard American blonde ale; serviceable but without much to distinguish it.

Mouthfeel: medium body with an OK carbonation and creaminess.

Overall: a drinkable blond, though unremarkable.
