L: Not much head retention. Golden yellow with orange color. Opaque.
S: Gonna be honest digging this aroma. Very floral, really nice fresh lemon zest, sweet, slightly funky. Its hard to pin down what is different about it but I really like it. Reminds me of a lemonaid on a hot summer day I guess. Touches of tropical fruit
T: Sprite like. Lemon, quite tart but in a nice way. Tartness balanced by sweetness which helps keep things rounded. Not funky at all when drinking it.
F: Crisp light and easy drinking
Great beer, maybe not worth the price though

Had on tap:
Bright yellow with a good white foamy head.
Smells like it tastes, bit of floral with a distinct sourness
Sour with a light sweetness
Acidic feel
Decent, very expensive by the bottle, but a decent price on tap.

How do I review this beer? Summary: Great beer at about the worst price in the industry.

Pours a bright yellow, moderate wheat haze, 1/2" white head virgin as can be. Super tart lemon aroma drowns out the wood.

Taste, hey this is definitely yummy. Very sour for style, bright wheat and acidity. Its light bodied and everything traditional with a berliner, but the sourness is fucking pumped, and its still rad with that going on. There's plenty of sourness and funkiness with it. This is big. More citrus going on for it than traditional, I dunno if there is some additional hopping going on or just the way she rolls.

Ultimately, this beer does everything very good. Huge problem though: $15 for 375ml of berliner weisse: Hottenroth is kinda the gold standard for me, and I get that for like, $7/750ml. So basically they want 4x per ounce of this beer, compared to one I like even more. Not gonna bang this one again except for at festivals and on tap. Bottles too pricey.

Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Smells of tropical fruits and barrel wood. Tastes of funk, tropical fruits, coriander, and oak. Medium body and carbonation. Overall and awesome barrel aged sour.

Thanks to eyebereej for sending this one. Reviewed from (long-standing) notes. Poured from a 16.9 oz. bottle into a Russian River snifter glass.

A: Hazy light gold, with good carbonation and a thin white head that fades quite quickly.

S: Lactic and citric acid tartness, with some nice barnyard notes. Yeasty with wheat and two-row malts.

T: Lactic tart, with Brettanoyces funk, musty hay and a touch of feet. Some Lactobacillus-type funk also. Lemon, grapefruit and pineapple from the Brett as well. Mild woodsy oak tannins. Yeast and wheat that has just a touch of husk. It finishes dry, with a light tartness and a bit more huskiness.

M: A light bubbly body, and no alcohol to speak of.

O: A very, very good Berliner. This strikes a nice balance of tart, funk, and everything else I'm looking for in a base Berliner. Well done.
