On tap at Peg’s during the Berliner Bash. Served in a mini snifter. Pours a fairly-bright pinkish-red color with a touch of brown. Nose carries loads of fruit. Hefty raspberry presence. Not much in the way of backing wheat or general Berliner character. Flavor is heavy on the raspberry with a touch of citrus through the finish. Light body and heavy fruit. Moderate acidity. Pretty good.

On-tap at Peg's.
A - Pours a pinkish/red color, thin collar.
S - Feta cheese, feet, funk, some fruity notes, sour/tart noes. This really did smell like feta cheese and once you were able to get past this (if you could), then some of the fruity notes came though.
T - Feta cheese, tart fruit notes, feet, old things, musk. Really funky, cheesy, and not much berliner in there at all. Very very interesting...it was so funky, I almost had a hard time not smelling it. Weird, to say the least.
M - Light, good carbonation, dry finish.
O - I'm really not sure if this is what Doug intended, but it was definitely something I'll always remember. The feta cheese funk is unlike anything I've ever smelled or tasted in a beer. I can see people being on two opposite sides with this beer.

Thrilled to try this on tap.
A - A deep and bright pink/fuchsia color. Brilliant i appearance, it has a small white head that left some minor spots on the sides.
S - An exceptionally pungent odor of what I take as raw/green raspberries. A lot of people described it as "feet" and "cheese" but it was much more vegetal to me than that. Some great bright and tart raspberry smells.
F - Flavor is fantastic, you get less of the raw pulp taste and a lot more strong real raspberry fruit. Sometimes it's slightly herbal, but that really only adds to the character and uniqueness of this beer. Great tartness with just the right amount of sweet that focuses on the fruit without being overpowering. The lime mellows out the raspberries just a bit and adds more of a smoothing citrus note. This is awesome.
M - Light, fairly active carbonation.
O - Can't drink enough of this. This is a fantastic beer and I am fortunate to have tried it. Would love to do so again. Drank it side-by-side with the single version, and they both rock, although I slightly prefer this one.
