On tap at the brewery. Hazy red amber. Big fluffy white head. Smells of caramel, toffee, a little bread, and a tinge of rye. Tastes of toffee and caramel and a tinge of rye. Maybe the slightest bit of grapefruit in the finish. Medium body. It’s not the most interesting beer.

Pours a slightly hazy dark orange color with off-white head. Lots of rye on the nose, with some caramel malt, and spice; follows onto the palate. Finishes with rye spice.

My least favorite of all the Cycle brews I have had (with only a few more to go). Seems rather muddled and almost chalky. Just not quite there.

Enjoyed on tap at the brewpub. Reddish colour, with a lace sheet. Medium mouthfeel, in fact a little watery. Hoppy American red rather than a conventional Irish red, but that worked for drinkability and taste. Nice sessionable beer, with a nominal toasting.
