Updated 5/21/2015...just lost all respect for this place after seeing that they are forcing people to buy a pack of 'clearance' (aka out of season) beer just to get a sixer of Zombie Dust.

Found plenty of current seasonal beers here that I had been looking for. Left with some Founders Imperial Stout, Off Color Bare Bear, Boulevard Coffee Imperial Stout, and 51st Ward Venganza. Selection was pretty extensive for a smaller store. Only nitpick was that certain new beers weren't priced. Prices turned out to be fair, and the cashier was able to check prices and asked me if I wanted to buy each beer.

Selection was US-craft focused, a good mix of new and old breweries, full lines in most cases. 5-6 different Boulevard Smokestacks, which you don't often see at smaller stores. Off Color, Revolution, Deschutes, Founders, Lagunitas, Bells, many solid options overall. Everything I checked a date on was in code, no dust to be found.

Overall this was a solid store, some reviews here seem to project personal agendas and biases, nothing new I guess. People sell beer to make money, not a novel concept.

Decent selection, nice section of beer singles, prices that might be a little over what Binny's charges, but considering the distance, its not a problem paying the extra dollar. They got a singles section in the first cooler. Remember seeing Goose Island, Bell's, Founders, Two Brothers, Stone, Sierra Nevada, Goose Island, also some Belgian & German imports. Service isn't bad but I'm sure these guys don't know anything about the stuff on the shelf. However, I'm sure most of the clientele there will be after the macro beer so check the dates on the micro beer before you buy it.

This shop is a great place for one main reason-- the mix-a-six deal. $9.99 6ers of whatever you grab from their singles section. I have had almost everything they offer as a single (maybe an average of 15 to 20 different bottles) but I do like it because it makes picking up extras for trades so much easier.

The employees aren't very knowledgeable, and a few don't even seem to drink at all. It seems more of a "We'll carry what makes us money," as opposed to the "We carry good beer,"-attitude that all of us craft drinkers love to see. Another problem is that much of their selection doesn't turn over very quickly-- So IPAs can be 9 or 10 months old (or worse) when you pick them up.

The selection here is about the same in the area-- nothing too fancy, mostly just midwest regional breweries. I did notice that they don't carry any of the Goose Island Belgian series or Bourbon County Stout. Also missing is anything from Cantillon.

Prices are about average for the area-- nothing shockingly overpriced, but nothing that I would call a steal.

Overall, it is what it is. A small shop ran by guys that do what they do to make money. The prices and selection are reasonable, but the biggest thing going for them is the single bottles to create your own 6 pack.

I like this liqour store becase it is minutes from my house and they have a good selection. Its located on Jefferson Street and River road in shorewood. If your reading this you probably have visited there big brother store that is also located on Jefferson Street in joliet. Its across the street from inwood park district. That location is about 10 times the size.

This is a very clean store that is well stocked and the staff is helpfull. They carry alot of craft beers on there shelfs. They also have there cooler stocked with craft beers. I think they have a very good seletion here but there other location has more craft beers to choose from. Price is reasonable just as you would find any where else in the area. I have noticed they do carry alot of wine if anyone is interested.
