Pours a hazy yellow with a foamy beige head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Tiny dots of lace drip into the remaining beer on the drink down. Smell is slightly sour with citrus juice, tropical fruit, earth, chalk, spice, and yeast aromas. Taste is much the same with slightly sour citrus juice, tropical fruit, chalk, and yeast flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of acidity and earth bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer with a nice mix of saison, tropical fruit, and slightly sour characteristics all around.

Look: Fairly foamy - 2 finger head with a moderate pour from a 22 oz bottle. Hazy straw color. Stays active and has decent head retention.
Smell: Fruity and funky. Some fresh cut grass. Some fresh cut grass. Some wine and citrus.
Taste: Slight bitterness at first. Some hop, more yeast and spice though. A hint of malt and is quite sweet. Tart fruit towards the end and dries out.
Feel: Medium+. Nice and slick feel. Remains fizzy.
Overall: Really good Saison / Farmhouse ale. Yeast and spiciness is enjoyable.

From the 22 oz bottle in a snifter. This most excellent saison pours
a nice golden with amber touches and a modest head of white
dissipating foam that forms a thin ring and light layer. Nose of
pineapple, mango, passion fruit, and yeasty goodness touched
with honey malts. Flavors follow the nose with mango and passion
fruit notes on all sides mixed with light candy sugars and earthy
yeast that fades to a nice herbal hop that brings balance to the sweetness
and is enhanced by the yeast. Perfect mouth feel for he style; lightly crisp
and tart with medium carbonation and finishing dry. Substantial and
darn near perfect for a hybrid saison.
Cheers

Vintage 2015; Drank September 2016. Incredible nose and flavors; variety that almost can't be put into words. By far the best Stillwater I've had, but likely because it aged so well.

On tap into a tulip. Pours a shiny gold with a one finger lacy white head that dissipates quickly...no lacing. Nose isn't very yeasty...some bread crusts, some musty nondescript fruit, some heavy pepper. The fruit notes come through a bit more clearlyin the taste, but I doubt I'd get mango without help...kind of overripe with a tart twist at the very end. Kind of substantial and sticky feel for the style.

Short Review. This is a very nice beer, the saison base is nice, it shows up just enough and it's followed by a big tropical fruit flavor that is juicy and refreshing, it makes for a really nice combo and at the end there's just a little bit of tartness that seems to bring everything together. I enjoy, it would be perfect in the summertime and I would recommend it to anyone who likes fruity saisons.

Poured into a large snifter. An enjoyable beer. slightly hazy with a nice aroma, but the mango takes the farmhouse funk in a direction that does not work for me.

L: Exceptionally clear gold finger head..receded fast bubbles still streaming up tho.
A: Peppery spices..bready staleness. A bit of bright fruit.
T: It's tastes like..that arbor mist sparkling wine. Some tart tropical fruits a lot of dry white wine grapes.
F: Kind of thick and velvet like ..yet dry.
O: Too much spice character (like all Stillwater farmhouses) and odd Fruit taste I guess from the fruit juice. It seemed like a good idea but just didn't work out very well. At least IMO and what I was expecting from it. I could see how some would like it tho.
