355 ml can, from Vinmonopolet. ABV is 6%. Cloudy golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of tropical fruits. The flavour is first citrussy, then notes of tropical fruits, before it ends in a distinct bitterness. Slightly sour overall.

L: Cloudy amber color
S: Fruity and tart. Passion fruit and mango smell.
T: A very drinkable IPA. Tart and refreshing with slight hops.
F: thick but refreshing
O: for those who don’t typically drink IPAs, this is the beer for you. A refreshingly tart IPA that anyone can enjoy. Those who are seeking hop-forward IPA should look elsewhere. I suppose those people are why this beer is not rated as highly as other Stillwater beers.

Loved the can art and I really liked it contents...
The unique thing of this beer was how cloudy and full of "floaty things" it actually showed. It had some foam, but dissipated quickly and some lacing, but just some. The smell was full of the advertised fruit on the can - mangoes, passionfruit, and some other citrus notes. Here's where we get to a tale of two beers - mouthfeel was light and even reminiscently creamy, lightly carbonated, but even a watery texture to it. It appeared to me to cover a wide gamut. The taste was very hoppy, hoppier than I prefer and distracting from the fruity flavors that were present. I did enjoy this beer and It's nice to experience a new brewer with so much potential.

I was really excited to try this . Pours light gold with a ton of floating sediment (yeast/wheat?) Just not an attractive look for an IPA. The aroma of pineapple/mango comes through..with some additional passionfruit, but that's all I'm really getting. It's almost too fruity - which for some, may be great. But for me, not as much. Taste is very similar to the aroma...but I may actually be able to detect some pilsner malts? Feel is highly carbonated. Overall, a juicy refreshing beer, that isn't so much suitable for the average IPA drinker, but a juicy drinkable beer nonetheless.

I was away for the weekend for a documentary shoot on the Delaware beaches, but now I am back & ready to add to The CANQuest (tm)!
From the CAN: "Contemporary Works"; "India Pale Ale with Mango & Passionfruit".
The Crack! was loud enough to stir me out of any residual effects from the weekend. I CANtinued with a Gussie Busch Glug into the C of the glass. This caused it to puff up, forming two-plus fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, tawny head with good retention. It left behind some nice lacing as it fell. Color was a Hazebro cloudy Golden-Amber (SRM = > 5, < 7). Hmm. Nose was really tropical, leaving no doubt of their claim of mango & passionfruit, but it did not really smell like an AIPA. Hmm. Mouthfeel was medium. The taste was fruity, lightly tart, slightly biscuit, but still not really evocative of an AIPA. Do not misunderstand me - it was not bad, per se, but it just was not what I want in/from the style. Finish was semi-dry, but it still had a lot of fruitiness which just seemed to be getting in the way of everything else. I do not think that it rates "Very Good", but YMMV.

12 oz can
Pours slightly hazy lemon gold, white suds for a head.
Smells of pineapple, mango, passionfruit, biscuit and herbal hops.
Flavor is of pineapple, passionfruit, grapefruit, sourdough bread and herbal hops.
Medium body, tingly carbonation on the tongue.
Decent refreshing pale with some nice fruity character. The aroma is really nice but the flavor is just okay. Would have a few more of these but also probably not going out of my way to get one again.

Cloudy golden pour. Tropical aromas of pineapple, mango, and citrus slap you in the face. Taste follows the nose then ends with the passionfruit. Nice mix of sweet and bitter. Medium body.

Pours an unclear dark yellow with fine head.
Smell i fruity and tropical with notes of mango, pineapple and lime.
Taste follows the nose well, adding in a dash of citrus and a mild, balanced bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a very enjoyable IPA. Nothing mindblowing, but nice and balanced.
