Hazy body; color of peach and orange juice; thick, dense and creamy white head. Well-balanced and bold aroma full of citrus fruit and pineapple; light bread crust. Taste blends mild cereal grain base and lots of juicy and bitter hop notes; grapefruit; some alcohol presence. Heavy body; sharp and prickly on the palate; dry mouthfeel over all.

While still not a fan of hazy, cloudy IPAs overall, this DIPA is a joy to experience. It claims to be quadruple dry-hopped and it appears so with its stupendous hop presence, both in the aroma and taste. It has a nice warm and grain-like base with the hop profile (Mosaic, Citra, Galaxy and Nelson Sauvin) really defining the beer's character. I think more of this beer will find its way into my beer collection...and if so, it will be consumed quickly and with great relish...

Pours a murky orange with a finger of white foam. Head retention is good. Aroma is deep and dank tropical fruits with individual notes of tangerine, papaya, mango, peach and orange with a little yeasty zest to it. Flavor profile is peach, mango, orange, papaya, tangerine, and lemon grass with a little bready yeast. It has a hint of hop burn at the finish which grates the mouth a bit. Mouth feel is medium-thick with a soft and pillowy start with a pulpy, lightly grainy finish. Overall, extremely heavy tropical fruits with a bit of hop burn and graininess at the finish that counteracts the sweet, sugary opening. Really enjoyable flavor profile and experience, but the hop burn is discernible, hence the lower rating.

Served in a 15.5oz Speigalau tulip from a 16oz can.

2nd of 4-pack I have, although I've already gifted another, so after this its just one more.
Can to Tulip glass.

LOOK: super thick creamy hazy yellow; big foamy creamy white head; excellent retention. Looks like a Disney Dole Whip, for those who are familiar.

AROMA: mango, then some grass, touch of citrus, very pungent. Nice aromatics.

TASTE: tropical fruit, grass, leaves. Strong flavors are pleasant upfront, but become oppressive as you go.

FEEL: full bodied for the style. thick and smooth; milkshake like.

Very nice beer. I am enjoying this one a tad more than my first. Maybe just takes some familiarity to know what to expect. Aroma and flavors in this are jumping out at you. Can just be a little abrasive.

16 ounce can into tulip glass; no can dating, but is a recent local release. Pours opaquely hazy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, white grape/wine, citrus peel/zest, wood, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, white grape/wine, citrus peel/zest, wood, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, white grape/wine, citrus peel/rind, wood, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Amazing complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance; and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky/resinous/rindy mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 9%. Overall this is an amazing NEDIPA. All around incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to drink for the big ABV, with the mildly bitter/resinous/drying finish; awesomely soft feel. Amazing Mosaic, Citra, Galaxy, Nelson Sauvin profile. Extremely juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a perfectly balanced wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazingly spot on style example as expected.

Poured a hazy orange yellow with a white head on top. The smell of the beer has a nice citrus aroma. The taste has a good juicy tropical flavor up front and finishes very dank. The feel is smooth and creamy up front and finishes dry. Overall a very solid brew.
