750ml bottle shared on 04/29/21
Look: pours an orange-copper color, minimal head which quickly dissipated. A few ounces were prepoured for me, but I was told carb was very high out of the bottle.
Smell: Lemon, hay, slight barnyard funk, musty/damp forest, celery
Taste: Meyer lemons, wood, mild funk. Straddles the line of being both sweet and tart
Feel: Perfect level of acidity, incredibly drinkable, has a delicateness to it
Overall: Just an absolutely beautiful beer. At 18yrs old, it’s drinking really well, although I have no other point of reference. As it warmed and eventually reached room temp, it became much more complex and was too drinkable!
I’m Incredibly grateful to have been given the opportunity to try this. Much appreciated Chris.
