330 ml bottle into lager glass, no bottle dating. Pours lightly hazy deep golden amber color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of lemon zest, orange peel, pear, apple, cracker, biscuit, light honey, floral, grass, straw, light pepper, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of hop, malt, and yeast ester notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon zest, orange peel, pear, apple, cracker, biscuit, light honey, floral, grass, light pepper, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Light earthy herbal bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon zest, orange peel, pear, apple, cracker, biscuit, light honey, floral, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance and robustness of malt, hop, and yeast ester flavors; with zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth, crisp, and slightly bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice Czech pilsner style. All around good robustness and balance of malt, hop, and yeast ester flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

L- Very pale straw and pours with a tiny hint of haze and a 5mm white head.
S- Just a mild sense of hoppy dryness.
T- Notably hoppy-dry... in fact so hoppy and bitter it just made me sneeze! The bitterness is pronounced, for example it is materially stronger than that you'd expect to find in an English Bitter beer.
F- I can enjoy a bitter aspect to a beer, but this one lacks an opposing side (richness and/or depth of flavour) to give balance.
O- Notably dry and bitter, and that dominates my attention from anything else that might be going on. I see the brewery produce several Geueze style beers, which to me are often waaay too prominent with ultra-dry hopping, and I'm wondering if a similar level of hopping has crossed over into this recipe for what I was expecting to be a more straight-forward quality 'lager'. It's one of the hoppier lagers I think I had, makes the likes of the notably dry Pilsener Urquell [Czech] seem subtle in comparison. I really get no sense of body or even ABV%. Not one I'd buy again. I suspect this is brewed for a quite seriously niche/local taste+palate.
From BelgiumInABox (Antwerp/BE) for delivery to me in London/UK. 330ml bottle BB: 05/12/2021.

Pours a lightly clouded golden color. Thin off-white head dissipates steadily but not completely. A thin layer of white foam is left on the outside of the beer.
Aroma has some notes of grains, sweet honey, and a touch of earthy hops. It also has a bit of a tangy funk on the nose.
Taste follows the nose with some sweet grainy notes. Light earthy hops come through on the back end. Lingering bitterness is noted. The malts are there but aren't quite strong enough an come across somewhat watery on the palate.
Feel is light to medium bodied. Pretty smooth. Surprisingly light carbonation on the palate given it was quite fizzy when poured. Comes across undercarbed.
Overall this was fine, but rather disappointing.

Bottle from Lambic o Droom.
Crisp, clean, easy drinking. Has a kellerbeir flavor and feel. Lager yeast. Light bodied with a higher amount of carbonation. Very basic.

On draft. Served in a wine glass. Pour is clear golden yellow body, one finger white head, short retention, no lacing. Smell is spice, bread, slight banana, a bit of cracker. Flavour is banana-dominant, slight crackery body, a bit of mineral and spice. Honestly, a weird beer and I thought this was a hefeweizen at first taste. It's good, though. Mouthfeel is lighter bodied, reasonably coherent in body with good carbonation. Again, that weird banana flavour on the finish. Still, realizing after a bit of research on this beer that this is meant to be a kellerbier, things fall into place- the "lager" label definitely throws a man off.

Golden color with a huge head with great retention. It gets hazy in the last pour.
Predominant herbal grassy aroma with hints of bread and lager yeast.
Flavor with predominant notes of noble hops, sugar, grainy and bready malt, a bit of green apples and lemon drops. Dry and bitter aftertaste with a long finish.
Light towards medium body with appropriate carbonation.
Very good spicy and bitter unfiltered Bohemian Pilsner with a decent amount of noble hops. The refermentation in the bottle may have helped to keep it fresh.

330ml squat bottle, the twin to the Blonde that recently arrived here in Alberta.
This beer pours a slightly hazy, medium golden yellow colour, with a teeming tower of puffy, loosely foamy, and somewhat creamy off-white head, which leaves some layered sudsy lace around the glass as it lazily subsides.
It smells of bready and crackery pale malt, some apple and lemony citrus fruitiness, subtle earthy yeast, and a spicy, leafy, and grassy hop bitterness. The taste is gritty and grainy pale malt, a separate biscuity/crackery thing, kind of soured apples, muddled citrus, a testy yeastiness, and more leafy, floral and dead grassy hoppiness.
The carbonation is adequate in its oft palate-pricking frothiness, the body a decent middleweight, and sort of smooth, as the yeast and the hops seem a tad clumsy in their traipsing about here. It finishes trending dry, the malt bottoming out a bit, while the hoppy, fruity, and yeasty esters linger on like the bosses they wanna be.
Overall, this is a well-made Euro-lager, the robust flavours attesting to that, and the minor (thankfully) yeastiness doing the same for its particular Belgian origins. Sassy, and a bit of a challenge to put back, but I mean that in the best of ways. Good stuff.
