"Brewed with fresh, unpasteurized White Plums from one of our owner's back yards, and honey from our friendly regular, Jack. Fermented in our open tank with Belgian Witbier yeast and spiced with traditional coriander, orange peel, and chamomile."

Poured @ the Bier Stein into a Nonic Pint

A - Very pale gold (borders on white gold), quite hazy, lots of carbonation, thin white head fades fast

S - Smells of coriander. Very tart. Wheat, hints of salt. Citrus zest, pineapple, light funk, fresh cut grass, Belgian Wit yeast.

T - Quite tart, lip puckering. Plum skins, yogurt, a little funk, honey. Quite complex and hard to pin down some of the flavors here

M - Medium body, quite tart and dry, carb dances all over the tongue, touch of alcohol.

O - Quite refreshing, nice and acidic, fruity, fizzy, very enjoyable. Clean sourness. Not too much Brett character. Great for a hot day.

This beer was very hard to consume. I am a big fan (re: HUGE) of "sour" beers and this was surely sour, but all I could taste was vinegar - vinegar that might have had plums thrown in it at one point. It smelled just a viscously vinegary as it tasted and that should have been warning enough for me to not put this brew to my lips. Something was wrong with this beer, After much hype from the employees and owners of the beer place that I consumed this, I doubt their ability to know the difference between something that tastes sour and something that has been treated with wild yeast properly to make a beer wonderful, as this beer was far, far from wonderful.
