Poured from a 330 mL shorty into a wine glass in Sao Paulo, BR. It says 4.7% ABV, not 5%. Pours light golden, pretty clear but with a slight haze, foamy head. Very strong aromas of banana and coriander, other spices, wheat, typical witbier. Its light body somehow allows the fermented cereal malts and milled corn to feature prominently in the taste, which is not a plus. I could pass on this one.

Nice summer beer. A bit flat and uninteresting. Just a good drink.

Straw color with a delicate shade of lemonade, beer is only slightly cloudy. Foam white, high and lasting. It is stiff, creamy in consistency, very nicely adorned with glass.
The aroma of fruit, oranges and lemons, the coriander, wheat, earthiness and damp basement.
Taste again, fruit, oranges and lemons, plus coriander, light hint of banana. Rounding out the taste is "cellar" wheat.
Saturation high, perfectly matching.

Very pale colour, interesting, and a archetypical witbier smell of corainder, orange and lemon. The taste and feel explain the extremely pale appearance though: they are both way too watery for my liking. There is also a quite dominating lemon flavour in the taste. There are far better (more balanced and complex) witbiers out there.

Brown bottle; says ABV is 4.7%, rather than the 5.0% listed--but this could simply be a product of import/export laws and such nonsense.

Anyway. This stout lil' bottle pours into my plastic cup (in a cheap hotel--my bad) a hazy yellow, maybe with a hint of orange. Think dehydration. Not much head, not much lacing.

Smell is typical--but mild--wit. Clove, coriander, wheaty, some citrus peel. Peppercorns. But all quite muted. Comparing this to the Unibroue Blanche de Chambly I consumed earlier tonight, it's almost weak. Also some decent pale malt, maybe a bit of biscuit or cracker, and a touch of herbal. It's light, but there's something likeable here, almost combining a wit with a pilsner or pale lager. That state of affairs comes through on the taste, too, good body, fairly effervescent--but an interesting pale lager-meets-witbier flavour of biscuit/cracker/herbal with coriander/clove citrus.

A nice beer. Nothing earthshaking, but certainly I'm happy to have tried it, and would drink it again.
