32 oz mini growler was poured into a mug.
Appearance: A one finger mocha head was poured that reduced to a thin layer. It is a pitch black color with no vision of anything. Frothy lacing down the glass as the beer was drank.
Smell: Smokey, roasted, molasses, earthy, caramel, milk chocolate, and toasted, and bready.
Taste: Roasted, milk chocolate, ashy, toasted, oats, molasses, caramel, bready, earthy, chewy, bitterness, and a little alcohol.
Mouthfeel: Smooth, medium to full bodied, medium carbonation, a little alcohol, and ashy bitterness.
Overall: Another solid offering from Wormtown. A very delicious RIS.

Look is a deep black with a nice mocha colored head
smell is intensely chocolate
flavor doesn't follow the smell as much as usual. It's chocolate and roasty.
Feel is silky and coats the mouth
overall a good RIS that I will drink more of!

Pours a dark, almost black color into the glass and is laced by a two finger light-mocha head.
The aroma brings the coffee in a big way. It is followed by subtle notes of dark chocolate, vanilla, and even a faint hint of caramel. Lovely aroma on this beer.
The taste has a nice balance of bitterness and sweetness. The burnt coffee notes are present, but are taken over by the sweet milk chocolate notes on the end. This one really starts to impress as it warms.
There is a moderate carbonation with some lingering alcohol on the tongue. The bitterness hangs around the mouth for quite a while after taking a sip.
This is a very smokey yet very sweet RIS. It goes down smooth, with the exception of some minor alcohol burn, and definitely leaves a lasting impression. Not the best Russian Imperial Stout I've had, but it is absolutely worth having again.

Darker slight creamy fizzy head fades fairly quickly, very dark almost black color.
Nose big roasty coffee, dry coffee, little cocoa, fluffy nougat and caramel notes, nice fudgey cocoa notes.
Taste brings some roast, slight acrid roast, with burnt coffee, little fudgey cocoa again, into fluffy malts and nougat notes, mild caramel. Very dark roasty malts, little char. Mild earthy spicy hops bring a nice bitterness. Dry finish, hint of alcohol warmth, little cocoa and coffee syrup lingering.
Mouth is fuller bod, decent carb, just a touch of warming booze late.
Overall not bad, fairly typical ris, bit on the burnt roasty side though, nice cocoa and hop bitterness, enjoyable sipper.
