16oz can. Dated 3/8/2016. Served in a snifter glass.

Pours a somewhat clear lemon-orange body, two finger white head, good retention, some lacing. Smells of spice, citrus, a bit of zest, mild cat piss, very small touch of hop resin. A bit of sharp caramel sweetness. Flavour is a mild caramel and crackery grainy sweetness, hop resin, citrus, a bit of spiciness. Nice complexity, nothing too special but definitely an above average beer. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, crisp, refreshing, good carbonation, mild bitter melon on the finish. Decent local IPA, better than most.

12 oz. bottle dated 02/22/16

Pours a cloudy gold with a creamy off-white head. Smells like floral berries, sweet citrus, caramel, clean biscuity malt, with fresh earthy grass and pine. Tastes like fresh berries, dank pine, bitter citrus, caramel, clean malty biscuit, with lingering dank earthy grass. Feels medium bodied, smooth with low carbonation. Overall a unique and balanced IPA.

Got in a BIF from tasterschoice62. 16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 3/7/2016. Pours lightly hazy deep golden yellow color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, light pepper, pine, light honey, cracker, bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of bright/dank citrus/tropical/pine hops and light-moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, light pepper, pine, light honey, cracker, bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/citrus rind/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, lemon/orange rind, pepper, pine, cracker, bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of bright/dank bright/dank citrus/tropical/pine hops and light-moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero astringent hop flavors after the finish. Good amount of dryness from bitterness as well. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, sticky/resinous, and lightly grainy/bready balanced mouthfeel that is awesome. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an outstanding IPA! All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of bright/dank citrus/tropical/pine hops and light-moderate pale malt flavors; and very smooth, crisp, and easy to drink. A highly enjoyable offering.

This is one of the best Beers I have had in a long time.
Look, a nice warm amber color, looks like an IPA, a little cloudy but can see through the glass.
Head, yup there is a little if you pour it into a glass/mug.
Smell, bingo, smells like an IPA, it's an IPA.
Taste,. full body, bitter, and very smooth, with a finish that lingers, and if you don't know what a hoppy brew tastes like then try one of these. You always know a good beer when it is the first one to disappear from the cooler shelf. the cans, and the bottles were all gone today when I stopped in to grab a rack. This is not the first time, and now I'm wondering if I should horde it! :) <= hoppy face here.
Thank you Wormtown Brewery for producing such a finely crafted brew.

Poured from a 12oz bottle dated 02/02/2016 into a shaped pint glass last night. Comes out golden with a slight haze, decent head falls down quickly.

Very hoppy aroma, some grapefruit and resin, west coast style on the nose. Flavor is sharply bitter, not a lot of malt. Citrus grapefruit notes, finishes with a piney resin from the hop oils that linger a bit. Finish on the tongue is dry, beer is medium bodied.

Overall an excellent example of a west coast style IPA from the east. A very well crafted beverage from a brewery I have never heard of until the bottle landed in my possession.
