Poured on tap at the brewery.

Pours a near pitch black color with a creamy tan head. The head is gone quickly but leaves a fair amount of lacing.

The aroma brings lots of coffee and vanilla. Slightly roasty.

The taste brings waves of vanilla, some chocolate, mild coffee, and caramel. Subtle piney hops on the finish.

The feel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Creamy with some warmth from the alcohol.

Overall a very good, very tasty stout. I feel it could be more roasty and full, but it's a well made beer. Would drink again.

Dark brown, almost black - pours with a two-finger mocha head, although it dissipates quickly. The bubbles are clustered on top, making it look a little splotchy. Smells roasty, bitter, and intense, slight coffee and vanilla. Taste is much sweeter than the smell! Creamy vanilla, nice body from the oats, sweet and malty (it is a little thin on the back end, though). The alcohol is hidden, bitterness is barely detectable. Smooth mouthfeel, leaves an oily/sticky/chewy feeling.
