On tap at Peppercorns. I to my best sienfield impression when I say "Lindros!". Good job at beating me.

A -Pours a nice clear light orange with a one finger white head that clings around leaving nice side lacing. Good and sticky.

S - Nice juicy hop profile here. Im thinking cites hops as it's a juicy citrus (grapefruit) with a very light malt. Stuff is so aromatic in the hops.

T - Very nice! Great hops are there with juicy grapefruit and maybe some orange/tangerine. Light malts but that's okay. Good bitter end.

M - Nice carbonation keeps it from getting too bitter. Juicy but dry oh so drinkable.

O - Overall I really enjoyed this offering from Wormtown. Reminds me of Be Hoppy in bottles, and that's a good thing.

look: 4.25 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 4.25 | feel: 4 | overall: 4.25

Appearance: Pours a hazy amber with an impressively tight bubbled head; excellent retention and lacing

Smell: Tropical fruit, grapefruit and biscuit

Taste: Biscuity malts buttress the tropical fruit flavors which build in a citrusy direction in the mid-palate; a hint of pine and a re-visit from the biscuit, after the swallow, but the hops dominate the finish

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: Another great IPA from Woostah; this is a brewery that can contend with the best of the west when it comes to IPAs

Thanks, mj0126, for the opportunity

Cheers to Goblinmunkey7 for sharing this beer

Consumed 4/10/14

Appearance: Hazy copper orange with some golden highlights around the edges - pours with a medium-sized, off-white head, easy to drum up some foam - leaves some nice streaks of lacing

Smell: Hoppy, but not sure if I'd call it "hoppier" - thanks to the name of this beer, I have no choice but to compare it to Be Hoppy, and I'm not sure if it's as potent - some big, juicy citrus -aromas - ripe grapefruit, tangerine and orange flesh - some fleshy and juicy tropical notes - some hints of pine resin as well - some light malts - pale malts with some light sweetness

Taste: Nicely juicy with a unique hop profile - strong Amarillo component with some light grapefruit, fleshy tangerine, and juicy orange - some pine, resin, and some herbal components - some light, pale malts that work well with the hop profile

Mouthfeel: Light to medium body, nicely smooth, nicely carbonated, definitely very drinkable

Overall: Wormtown be good with hops

This is a great IPA. The hop profile is very interesting, and it's definitely worth a try. I guess that I will need to try more Wormtown beers.

A hazy yellow amber color with a big white snowcap and muscular lacing. The aroma conjures polite floral hops with heavy grainy citrus and dusty pine. Relatively mild but very nice. The flavor comes on with a tart tropical fruit and grass/citrus bite. There's a nice malty Maypo grain that creates a slightly sweet background. The combination is highly satisfying. It's just about medium bodied with a copious carbonation and a frisky, refreshing but smooth feel. An excellent hop brew that you can count on.

Light fizzy head creamy, fades semi slowly with a bit of lacing, slightly hazy golden slight amber orange color.

Nose is hops galore, light musty resins, citrus, light grapefruit, hint of tangerine, very light sweet malt hidden in there, but doesn't come out as much as I hoped, I think due to being in a pint glass rather than tulip/snifter.

Taste starts with nice hops, decent bitterness but not heavy yet, juicy hops, citrus, orange rind, light tropical fruit, hint of grapefruit and tangerine, light musty resin, bit of tobacco, nice fresh hops. Very little malt to back it up. Almost like a hop juice rather than beer. Finishes a bit more bitter, somewhat dry, bit more orange rind and musty resins, light fruit lingering, quite a long lingering bitter finish.

Mouth is med bodied, decent carb.

Overall nice, fresh tasty hops, very light malt profile more west coast style ipa that doesn't overpower with bitterness or bombard with hops just a nice fruity citrus hopped beer that teases at being a hop bomb but not quite.

Appearance: Hazy orange amber dark gold. Head is clumpy, creamy, and dense. Super sticky lacing. Decent retention leaves a chunky loose cap and collar.

Smell: Bitter pithy pine needle. Loaded with citrus and tropical fruit. Grapefruit, peach, orange, and some pineapple. Deeply floral. Slightly spicy and earthy hop. Malts are light and bready up front with some slight caramelized malt sweetness. Slight toasted edge. A bit dank and leafy. Juicy.

Taste: A touch of powdery yeast with a nice push of juicy tangerine. Some grapefruit pith. Orange, some peach, and a mild backing bitter edge. Some leafy herbal components. Nicely floral and a touch dank. A ton of hop depth. Malts are a balanced sweetness offering some bready elements, a lightly toasted malt, and some caramel malts as well. A bit unbalanced, but deliberately so. Pithy. Some doughy notes as well.

Mouthfeel: Medium leaning to light body with a moderate carbonation. A touch dry on the finish.

Overall: I'll just Be Hoppy.

Another solid beer from Wormtown. A bit less exciting than Be Happy, but tasty. Worth drinking again.

A- Poured from the 22oz bomber to a snifter and a pint glass with a somewhat hazy orange-amber body. The head is white with a creamy and frothy texture and it reaches about two fingers in the pint glass. Good retention as the cap falls eventually to a thick, bubbly ring. Lacing starts with thick sheets and webs followed by

S- Hops make up basically all of the aroma. The bouquet of hops has an emphasis on juicy, tropical and stone fruits that remind me of the ripest of apricots and mangoes. Beyond that is citrus, floral and pine notes. Super clean yeast and no significant malt hints.

T- The juicy fruitiness, so to speak, that is present in the aroma loses some steam but is still in contention with grapefruit, orange, citrus and floral notes to be up front. It is still probably the most distinct thing as the rest of the hop notes blend well. Each sip seems to shift from tropical and stone fruits to citrus juice and rind. Hops all the way as the yeast and malts are beyond clean.

MF- Light to moderately thick body with a creamy and somewhat foamy texture. Carbonation at a medium level and perhaps could be a tad bit higher to help push out those hop flavors even more. Finishes with a moderate bitterness lingering on the palate with the hop oils.

Good presentation of tropical fruity and citrus hops without being overly hopped or taxing too much on the palate. Smooth and refreshing and follows up Be Hoppy nicely.
