This Belgian-style IPA is brewed using four malts, three hop varieties and is fermented with authentic Belgian Trappist yeast. Dry hopping this ale ensures a highly-hopped nirvana.

What an awesome beer. I totally taste the Belgian yeasty flavors but it has a lot of hops to this beer as well. Very complex and since I found it in Missouri it was cheap. I got a 6er of this for $8.99 and I think that was a great price for this beer. I will look for more of there stuff if available here. I had never really had this style before and i can't think of much like it. It was totally different but cool. PFA. Pretty Freakin' Awesome.

Copper penny hued with a spotless complexion. There's a fingernail of tan around three-quarters of the rim. The aroma is of sweet Belgian triple yeast. The flavor is absolutely dominated by the fruity Belgian yeast and seems very one dimensional. Where are the hops? The finish is very dry and there's a faintly noticeable booziness.

Orange-ish amber body with a thick, sculpted head; somewhat fizzy carbonation. Peach, yeasty, bready aroma; honey. Fruity flavors; banana and pear; well-integrated sweetness, not too much, not too little; bread crust; nice balance of hop bitterness. Heavy body; soft, velvety on the palate.
This is a very interesting beer with unique yet very approachable flavor combinations. It has great eye appeal and enticing aromas. It isn't too bold in the hop department yet seems prominent enough and adds delightful overtones to the malt and yeast qualities, and not too boozy, either. Bready, subtly sweet with a nice bitter counterpoint, and most importantly, stands out from the crowd (in good ways). Well worth trying...

Belgian yeast is apparent on the nose. Not overly hoppy. Like a watered down tripel.

Amber color with a clear complexion. It has a thin head, but decent lace. The aroma is muted, but has background of musty hops, phenols, and Belgian spiciness. The taste is balanced, with some earthiness and richly toasted malt. The body is a bit thin, and the finish could be more flavorful. Still, this is an enjoyable brew.

Great color, reddish amber Honey copper... everything others have said. Disappointing head on mine, almost nothing. Smell was great. Heavy on the bananas. It was like banana raisin nut bread with Some spices. Taste threw me off. Banana was still there but the spice really kicked in. Phased into more of the tangy, like a spicy sweet ipa. Aftertaste was plantains. Felt more bitter than it tasted. Like many, felt like there was a lot going on, not sure if tastes blended and complimented completely. I think that's more of a product of this style. Is it a hoppy ipa? Is it a Belgian ale with the distinctive yeast you expect? It's both poured into the same glass. If that's the goal, they pulled it off.

A : An iced tea/mahogany blush with hints of honey and amber @ 80% opaque. The head starts off at 2 fingers and ends at a fluffy layer on top leaving some slight lace.
S : It smells like a Hefeweizen with some very faint hop behind it. Fruity esters - banana, dark berry, mandarin orange; with clove, yeast, and heavy maltiness.
T : Phenolic, acidic, with orange and yeast, but also a high hop presence from lemons, grapefruit rind, and dull pine. Ends with a faint iced tea earthiness, and a snap of fresh clove. Also, bread crust.
F : Floaty mouth feel, with relentless carbonation like 1,000 violent pins on the tongue. It's exciting if a little forward. The carbonation also aggressively burns throat like heartburn, and then also the stomach. It's actually unsettling. Ends semi-dry.
O : It's a balanced White IPA but I've got to believe there are better ones out there. The carbonation is too intense and while the flavors are appropriate they aren't mixed in with equality.

Looks attractive setting in the glass with deep honey amber in tone body. Head is half an inch of quick fading biscuity tan head. Nose is very sweet for the style with layers of sweet bread and rhubarb pie. Taste is oddly vegetative and tangy sweet. A bit of burnt molasses plays on the tongue as well. This is overall very odd even for a Belgium IPA.
