Poured from an 11.2 oz. bottle date 4/14 into a 12 oz. tulip. Scant one finger head that dissipated quickly. Beautiful red color, nice tart aroma, significant sourness, fruit notes, slightly oily mouth feel. Intense and delicious.

Bottle code 21 13, poured into a teku glass

A- pours a deep ruby color with a sudsy off white head that eventually completely dissapears 4

S- strong acidic tartness with aromas of sour cherries, green apple, lemon peel, red wine, peach and balsamic vinegar. The barrel aging gives some woodsy oaky notes with hints of sweet vanilla 4.5

T- big sour tartness immediately that gives a lot of sour cherry flavor, flavors of lemons & apple kick in, red wine vinegar flavor gives it an acidic taste, oaky vanilla with a caramel-like malt, eventually finishing dry and tart 4.5

M- medium body with low carbonation leads to a slightly foamy mouthfeel and a dry and crisp puckering finish 4

O- a world class beer that's packed with fruity puckering flavor, it seems to get more complex as it warms 4.5
