Pours a clear yellow with soft head.
Smell is sweet and malty with notes of corn and some rye, quite cloying.
Taste is pretty awful. Sweet and corny with an overwhelming booziness and very little bitterness.
Mouthfeel is thin to medium, well carbonated.
Overall, close to undrinkable.

Elk Brew is admittedly not the type of beer to sip on and enjoy, it's the type of beer to chug and forget about. Actually, forgetting Elk Brew might be the best thing one can hope for.
Commonly perceived as a beer exclusively bought by high school students and certifiable alcoholics, Elk Brew is actively avoided by the rest of Sweden. Hell, I'm almost embarrassed to admit I've even bought it.
Regarding the actual review, Elk Brew tastes like a regular macro-lager with an alcohol content a couple of percentage points higher than what we are used to. As a result, Elk Brew is the prime example of what happens to, what is supposed to be a balanced beer style, when you overemphasize the alcohol content. It tastes like dish water and vodka.
You can criticize your generic macro lagers as much as you'd like, but at the very least they taste like water. Elk Brew is different, and probably the only beer that comes to mind that I would not drink even if someone bought one for me.
Avoid, avoid, avoid. Elk Brew is the worst beer I've ever had.

Horrible beer, to put it bluntly. Some hops and bitterness in it, but otherwise it tastes just gin and vodka. Poured it out in the sink.

A: Very pale, looks adujunct. Medium large, quickly dissipationg white airy head leaves only faint lacings.
S: Corn overload. Some sweet malts.
T: Very sweet malt, but overpowered by corn. Some fruits and berries, but artificial.
M: Aftertaste is short. Body is medium and carbonation is rich.
D: This beer doesn't deserve more than; AVOID!

Well this is a classic beer with the youngster in entire Sweden. Its cheep with Swedish measures and the taste is after that. This i classed as "get drunk material" but it dose its job at a legit scale. Everything besides taste is 2.0 or below and the taste is just all right. Its hard to compare this to the many other beers on this site and odds are that anyone that dosent know of this beer will ever taste it. Not on my recommended list but still, every beer need a review right?
