This fine beverage was delivered from a friend from work---Thanks Justin!
This nice red ale pours a lightly murky amber with red outlines and a nice head
of off white foam that subsides to a thick ring, nice pool, and light lacing in the snifter.
Nose of honey malts, toast, and nice floral hop notes. Flavors do not follow the nose but are
nice all the same. Bitter piney hops crash into honey malts and biscuit with subtle floral notes
and a nice bitter finish. Nice mouth feel, low carbonation, coating on the hop side, and subtly
dry on the finish but awash in bitterness. Overall a solid red ale for the hop lovers out there.
Also of note a nose that is not near the same as the taste which is strange with no bitter pine
notes detected. Interesting.

Cheers

Should be called Ro Shampoo, cause it tastes so bitter and unbalanced that it might be better as a cleaning agent.

This is a recent arrival to the market, so I'll assume it's fresh.

Dark reddish Amber color with perfect clarity in the light. Several fingers of ecru foam, an intricate halo of drippy lace, and fairly lasting retention.

Aroma is fairly fresh with a malt sweetness and dry floral hop note.

Piney hop bitterness, honey drizzled biscuit, butterscotch in the background, firmly bitter in the resiny pine aftertaste. Medium to full bodied, chewy texture. Overall pretty solid though nothing overtly unique about it.

4 oz pour at tasting event from 22 oz bottle

A- Haze red with thin head
S- Nice boquett of hops for the nose. A bit of toffee too
T- Rich hops blend that gives this Imperial Red more of an IPA/IIPA taste
M- Solid overall mouthfeel, not too thick or too thin

O- my favorite offering from Figure 8 of the 4 I tried at the tasting (Lost Staint, Raven Tor, Snake Pro). My buddy gave me a bottle of their Off With that I still need to try.
