When you walk in the bar is right in front of you. To the right is the dining area. Bunch of flat screen TV's that had the Red Sox on and a couple of sports channels. Couple of amusement games in the center of the room.

Beers were fresh.

Waitress was a little slow at first but more than made up for it when she realized we were waiting for a little while. The place was packed with people and they were running around.

They had about 60+ beers on tap, lots of marco's but they had a small selection that was well worth it. Some notables were Racer 5, Stone RIS and Brooklyn Main Engine Start and Mayflower IPA.

Food was good we both had burgers that were well made.

We had 6 beers and 2 burger plates and the bill come to $51.

Been a while since I came here but was pleasantly surprise with the tap list. Its a little out of the way for me and the wife but it is worth it. The food, beer and most importantly the price was right for a good dinner.

Local bar in a pretty non-descript part of town. Looking for a low-key venue to watch sports this is the place. The beer selection is great, beyond expectations for a neighborhood bar, unfortunately the food is what one would expect, good but not great.

Come for the beer, the service, the relaxed atmosphere but not the food.

This is on Post Road, like probably almost everything else in Warwick. The service is better than a lot of places here. The food is average, not bad, not stellar. Very solidly average.

The beer list is very good with probably 30 or so on tap. There are plenty of New England craft brews as well as national and international offerings. There is also a bottled list which is much shorter. If you fancy other drinks have no fear. Pretty much 3/4 of the menu is devoted to adult beverages so you should be able to find something to wet your whistle.

The beer list overcomes the quality of the grub. The hours stretch into the late evening for the kitchen so that is a plus if you need to fill some corners and wash it down with a quality brew.

I recommend this place for the beer selection alone. But, the food is tolerable so the experience will be a net positive for sure.

Came to this place based on the strong reviews I'd heard, and overall it is a decent spot for craft beer. The atmosphere isn't much, more of a dive than anything else, but it is a good spot to come for a bite to eat and a couple of beers.

The quality of the beer is good, as there are close to 60 taps I believe with a strong selection. Everything is served in pint glasses, which some might frown at, but I had trouble arguing with a pint of Stone Imperial Russian Stout. It was even better that it was only $6.

The selection, while extensive, yielded some very solid craft offerings. There were many macros thrown in there, but I had the Stone IRS and also a Stoudt's Fat Dog, both which were very good. There were also several IPAs such as Sierra Torpedo and Heavy Seas Loose Cannon, and some other decent offerings. The prices are very inexpensive for the quality of the beer.

The food menu is extensive, and my party of 3 ordered pizzas which were just "ok." The food is standard pub fare and I think I'll opt for a sandwich the next time I go. The prices for the food were also very reasonable.

Overall, this place isn't amazing, but it is a solid spot in Warwick that many don't know about. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area--you won't regret it.

I've been here a couple times on business trips to RI, and I like the place more every time I go. It's essentially a sports bar with lots of big screens and plenty to watch, but the food is decent, and the draft selections are pretty good. Be sure to ask your server for the "New" draft beer list, as the beers on the food menu are not up to date. Most of their beers are nationally distributed craft or BMC, but when I went in mid-February I had Mayflower IPA, Racer 5, and a Stone IRS for dessert. They tend to have a Pretty Things beer on draft as well each time I go in. You can get a sampler of small pours too, which is always nice. Great place to just hang and watch the game with a burger and a nice beer, especially if you like 90s hairstyles and thick RI accents.

A: Open layout, lots of benches and tables all over. A bar, diner style, in the front. Televisions and arcade games throughout. It's sports bar meets diner, odd, but it works.

Q&S: Everything is pretty basic, nothing fancy here. Everything is clean, and the beer menu is nicely laid out on the the menu. Attentive staff, quick. Good people running this place (hit or miss if you're wondering about beer, but I don't expect much from them).

S: Surprisingly good. A lot of New England breweries, with some DFH, Stone, "bigger" craft offerings. They have a couple of limited beers, which I was incredibly surprised seeing (limited offerings from Brooklyn and Allagash). Can get a sampler, if you can't make up your mind.

F: Great place for diner food. Had a burger and fries, big portions, very tasty. Everything looks good there.

V: Kind of a hidden gem, if you want a widely accessible place that isn't so "beer bar-ish" to bring non-craft friends, but enjoy a good selection of craft offerings. Won't pay more than $6 tops for a full pint, and the food is a good deal.

Hadn't been to this place in a couple of years. It had always been a fun place to watch any New England sports game with good cheap food and a draft selection that offered at least a couple of decent beers from which to choose. I walked in the other night and was blown away. They've gone from about a dozen taps to about 64. This was the best surprise I could have asked for. I can't recite all of the beers they had on tap, but the previous review covered a lot of that. They don't offer as many unique rare beers as Track 84, but there will certainly be at least 4 or 5 that even a serious connoisseur like myself had never even heard of. This place is definitely worth checking out and there is no better place to catch a game than Dave's.

I've visited Dave's Bar & Gill several times over the years, mostly because they are the only place in Kent County that seems to host Friend of Harpoon Events. That being said, the beerlist was decent, but certainly not a draw by any means. However, after visiting in November of 2009, they have definitely stepped up their game.

Dave's looks like your typical sports bar, but is also somewhat family friendly. As you enter the bar, immediately in front and to the left is a large wraparound bar area with several high top tables. To the right is more of a restaurant area with traditional booth seating. The bar area has several tvs for watching the game. Service is very prompt and attentive, and the menu consists of your typical bar food - burgers, sandwiches, wings, etc. All tasty and very reasonably priced.

The previous description is fairly consistent with how Dave's has always operated; however, at some point they added 40 taps. Naturally you have your BMCs, but they've definitely stepped up their craft game. When I visited in November the craft draughts consisted of: Loose Cannon, Boddington's, Peak Nut Brown, Anchor Steam, MH #9 & Roxy Rolles, Leiny Sunset Wheat, Harpoon IPA & UFO, Blue Moon Belgian White, DFH 60 & 90, Guinness, SNPA, Narragansett lager, Smithwicks, Newcastle, Newport Storm Amber, Bass, Big Daddy Speakeasy IPA, Golden Monkey, Palm, Seadog Blueberry, Arrogant Bastard, Otter Creek Stovepipe Porter, Leffe Blonde, Dales Pale Ale, ST Cherry Saison, Hoegaarden, Spaten Oktoberfest, SA Winter & Boston lagers. There was defintely a bottle list, but honestly, the draught list was more than enough to hold my attention. Dave's also offers a sampler try (4 - 5oz. pours).

Pricing is pretty darn reasonable $5 for DFH 90 & $6 for an Arrogant Bastard is more than fair. Food is tasty and dirt cheap. All beer servings will pretty much come in a standard pint, so don't anticipate appropriate glassware. Also, servers aren't really beer savvy, but it's really a non-issue as long as you know what you want.

All and all, Dave's is a solid place to stop in for a pint and bite on Post Road. Not of the same caliber as Track 84, which is right down the road, but a decent place to meet friends grab some food and a few beers. Well worth checking out if you are in the Warwick area.
