Well, first thing I can say is that if you are staying in the Old Town Scottsdale area, it looks like a good idea to walk here if you view a map...it is not. We walked a good 2 1/2 miles in the rain (first time it has ever rained on me for more than 10min in Phoenix in about 15 visits), but it was worth it when we got there.

A - Very low key, casual, western saloon type environment. Very small bar with about 6-8 seats and sparse tables throughout the place. Overall the establishment is large...could easily fit more tables if they chose. Definitely not for those looking for a high class dining experience, but we found it interesting, fun, casual and a good experience (despite being stared at awkwardly by an intoxicated 60 year old woman for 30 min who thought one of us was "very cute").

Q - Large number of house beers in many styles. One of my friends tried a mandarin orange wheat beer that he really liked a lot. Even with the quality house beers the selection of guest taps (~10-15) and the coolers full of canned and bottled beers stole the show.

S - Large place that was covered initially by two bar tenders and dipped to one as the night wore on. Service wasn't especially fast, but was fine. The bartenders handled the crowd well and we never waited an extended period of time for beer or food. All things considered service was quite good. Bartender was friendly and talked with us a bit about the beers we chose and others available that we might like based on our choices.

S - Selection was excellent...large number of house and guest taps - really good stuff...we had SN Bigfoot and FW Double Barrel on tap, Ska Modus Hoperandi, Deschutes Jubelale, and Alesmith Speedway Stout while we were there. Tons of stuff there not available on the east coast. Lots of American craft, Belgians, Germans...really nice selection.

F - Small to medium menu...typical pub food and pizza. Three of us all got pizzas which were very good all around. Hit the spot and complemented our selection of beers for the evening.

V - Value was pretty good overall. Prices on the pizzas were reasonable, drafts were typically priced ~$4.50-5 (can't rembember exactly). Bottles were priced as they would be in any liquor store in the area +/-. For example, a 750ml of Speedway was $12.99 plus a small "corkage" fee for opening the bottle on premises. Very reasonable.

A little dark and out of the way and the seating is weird - probably could get more flow with a different arrangement. The two beers that I wanted to try were out, but the ones I did were pretty good. The food is above average for a draft house. They really have a great guest beer selection - probably one of the best in bottles around. So if you want a nice sandwich with a bottle of beer you probably cannot find anywhere else - this is the place.

Dark dive bar in a strip mall. They have a handful of house brewed beers on tap along with 20 or so guest taps. But I was more impressed with the bottle selection in the serve yourself fridges. You can look over their selection and bring a bottle or can to the bar and they'll open and pour it for you or you can grab a six pack holder and buy some to take home. They had mostly locals, west coast, and Colorado area beers. I was especially siked to see they had Bells Hopslam, Bells 30th Anniversary Stout, Lagunitas Waldo, and Alesmith Speedway Stout chilling in the coolers. The bartender was very friendly and helpful. We had a few beers there and took a mixed 6 pack back to the hotel.

Stopped by at 6 on a Saturday. Place was rather busy but we were able to grab an empty table. The vibe is a bit of frat house or dive bar, which doesn't bother me, but this isn't a slick and modern place. Around 25 beers on tap, most are guest taps. Pricing starts at a reasonable 5.50 a pint with rarer beers going for more. Service was spotty at best, had to flag the server down for every new round. We got a pizza and some wrapped sandwiches. Food was fine but not remarkable. I'd stop by again for a couple pints, but I'd skip food next time

Love this place! Always a good tap list, and recently it's been one of the best in the area. Pretty good bottle selection, and good food, too.

Great beer bar in an easy to get to spot. Kind of a pirate ship vibe on the inside with a bunch of big wooden decor elements. Low-key and chill. Huge bottle selection and a ton of drafts. I was able to try a whole bunch of beers thanks to small pour options. I didn't have any food, so I can't comment on that. Awesome spot in greater Phoenix.

They do not brew the best beers in town but have an outstanding tap list and a really cool place to hang out. Great bottle selection as well!

A bottle shop inside a brew pub with decent food. Ok in my book.
