Pours a slightly hazy yellow golden color with white head. Light fruits, passion fruits most pronounced and a little yeast on the nose; follows onto the palate. Light bodied beer. Finishes with a little wheat note followed by fruit.

On tap.
A mild, very drinkable beer that had some fine subtle complexities. Passion fruit?
The thin body is a bit watery even though the carbonation was properly set.

Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has a golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of fruits, grains. Taste is passionfruit, wheat, a light tartness, easy drinking. Feels light in the mouth and overall is a refreshing and decent beer.

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle. Stamped Best By 11/2/14.

Yellow pour with white fizzy head. The look was about the only thin I liked about it. But this style is hard for me to comprehend.

Aroma of passion fruit or fruit juice. Not much in malts or hops.

The light and refreshing body was probably about right too.

The taste is almost a drain pour for me. Although I try very hard not to drain pour anything. Fruit, fruit, and more fruit. Is this actually a beer?

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. Thank you shan8454 for this one in trade.

Appearance: Golden amber with a very thin white head, no lacing on the glass.

Smell: Sweet fruity smell with hops and some mild citrus.

Mouthfeel/Taste: Smooth medium bodied. Taste of mild sweet fruit and citrus, some hops too.

Overall: Good brew, very easy to drink. It would be great for a hot day.

A decent wheat ale. I usually don’t like this style, or the interpretations I find of it, but this works fairly well. Pleasant fruit tone on the back end of it. Mild wheat character; could deal with some more frankly. A bit grainy and rough around the edges. Nice enough to drink though.

A: The beer is crystal clear dark yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation along with hints of amber hues. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles on the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of wheat are present in the nose along with hints of passionfruit.
T: The taste very much follows the smell, except that there are stronger notes of passionfruit and these contribute hints of sweetness. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels light-bodied (but not watery) on the palate and has a low to moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer tastes like a pale wheat ale that has notes/hints of passionfruit. It's not that interesting, but the passionfruit does mask out some of the wheat flavors and prevent the taste from being bland. Overall, it's rather easy to drink.

La. 31 Passione’ has a thick, yet, quickly dissipating head, a clear, bubbly, brilliant, orange appearance and pretty much no lacing left behind. The aroma is mild and nice- sweet, white wheat bread, white bread crust, a little bit of mustiness, and a touch of fruit, but just a touch. Taste is of those things, but one will pick up more fruit, here, with a bit of pepper zest. I could not detect any bitterness. Mouthfeel is light and watery, with a carbonation prickle. La. Passione’ finishes semi-dry, refreshing, and highly drinkable. Overall, this is really nice.

I purchased this from half time, enjoyed from the bottle chilled in a tulip.

The color is medium golden with light haze and thin white cap with tight bead, no lace sticks. The smell is malty with mild toasted aroma and light tangy fruity yeast ester. The feel is alright with a moderate carbonation level and medium sweetness leel with light tanginess and semi-dry finish with low bitterness and alcohol in the feel.

The beer has a mild sweet flavor on the tip of the tongue with a mild soapiness as it spreads out with light yeast fruitiness and gentle yeast adding some mild tropical tinges to the taste. The carbonic acid is plentiful and seems to bring the beer together in the semi-dry finish. Overall this is a drinkable beer, I am not sure if the beer itself or the glassware contributed the soapiness in the taste, but it was faint and didn't really distract from the overall flavor. This is not a bad beer however the description of passionfruit lost me since I don't get any of that in the aroma or flavor.

Appearance: Poured from 12 oz bottle into a footed Innis & Gunn glass, clear light amber without much notable head or lacing.

Smell: Very citrusy and I definitely get tropical fruit. I'm not really sure what passion fruit smells like but I'm definitely getting it in the aroma. Also some light hoppy character. Very good on the nose.

Taste: A bit of a let down, as there is more artificial flavor than I anticipated given the aroma. There is a passion fruit taste but it almost feels forced. This is not that great of a tasting wheat beer IMO. There is some sweetness here.

Mouthfeel: Not what I look for in a wheat, with a bit too much stickiness and a thickish feel. I like a refreshing wheat and this isn't doing it for me.

Overall: Yeah, it was okay I guess but not something I feel the need to drink again. Happy to support a local brewery but not a go-to wheat beer.

Thanks... or no-thanks, to rudzud for sharing.

Pours a light fizzy head, crystal clear light honey colored.

Nose biscuity cracker malt with a weird crappy malt like cheap malt aromas, light fruity aromas hint floral like fruit, not really sure if I can call it passion fruit, almost corn like sugary aroma, and apricot like.

Taste starts almost macro like, weird malt liquor taste, light fruity flavor but not really passion fruit, weird bitterness, light copper taste, grassy leafy flavor, mild bitterness some sweetness. Finish is sticky syrupy mess, copper, extract like bleh,.

Mouth is sticky syrupy mess, low carb.

Overall blech.

Shared with JLindros.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice clear golden hue with a thin white blanket that fades to leave light lacing and wisps.

S - Aromas of faint wheat, lift fruit, pretty meh.

T - Taste is lightly wheat, malts, some sweetness, meh.

M - Mouthfeel is average for the style.

O - Overall I was rather underwhelmed by this beer, very mediocre.

Poured into a tapered Guinness pint glass. Label says 05 16 13. Just in time.

A- Pours a light amber color with a 1/2 inch white head that soon fizzles away to a thin ring around the edge of the glass and very active small patches of surface foam. Slippery, non-resilient lacing.

S- Very fresh passion fruit aroma that doesn't seem artificial. Citrusy and zesty. Additional notes of orange and grapefruit.

T- Passionfruit isn't quite as intense in the flavor with the wheat playing more of a dominant role. Easy-drinking and tangy. Flavor stays strong throughout the drink which is a big plus since a lot of fruity wheats don't hold up the whole way through. Also not too sweet which is good.

M- Slightly sharp, not too light-bodied with medium-low carbonation.

O- I took a chance with this one but I'm relatively pleased with the outcome. I especially dug the aroma as it was very bright and invigorating. If this beer had a bit more carbonation, I'd consider buying it again.
