I was really looking forward to this, but ended up very disappointed. I really didn't taste very much coffee and it was not what I anticipated for a milk stout. I tasted lots of tobacco flavor and bitterness. Not my cup of tea.

Wow such an interesting pour. First impression: Unbelievable flavor. The coffee aroma and flavor are warm and mellow. Little fragrance of vanilla, very nice. Light foam over a rich milky golden goodness. This has a cool smooth feel to it, very easy on the carbonation, which made it an interesting milk stout. Kind of pleasantly snuck up on me. I will definitely seek this out again. I was surprised to be impressed by this after drinking Calm Before the Storm by Ballast Point. This might be my 2 new seasonal favorites for the time being. This was a beautiful experience in a glass.

Fantastic!!! Super smooth. Not a dense stout. Surprising color.

Had this on 2015-06-29 in Concord, CA at The Hop Grenade

A - Clear gold with a 1-finger firm head and nuce lace

S - Coffee, milk sugar, chocolate. Inviting.

T - Rich coffee with cream and a drizzle of chocolate. A little toasted oat flavor. Roasted bitterness.

M - Thick and very creamy like it was on nitro.

O - Never had this style before. Without barley malt, it doesn't really taste like a stout but it is close. Enjoyable.
