Thanks to my brother for sending me this bottle.

The beer gushes wildly once opened and eventually settles down to pour a light yellow color with a large white head. The aroma is grain and grass with not too much else going on. The flavor is much of the same. I get a ton of grain notes with a little bit of grass mixed in. I don't really get any hop bitterness or too much hop flavor other than a little bit of the grass. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Not very good at all.

Got one on tap at Blind Pelican, NOLA, 25/XII/2017.
Nothing special. Quite sour at first and then turned bitter from the hops. Just a normal hoppy pilsner, nothing special.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. Small amount of slightly off white head with slight lacing. It pours a dark golden yellow with just a slight haze. It's aroma reminds me of butter and lemon. Taste is slightly citrus with a bit of a grassy finish. Very little hop character. Very light on the tongue. It's an average beer, and doesn't quite resemble the other pilsners I've had.

12 oz bottle contract brewed by Heiner Brau. Pours a mostly clear yellow color with a fast-dwindling white head. Leaves a nice collar and bubbly surface.

Grainy malt is certainly there and smells pretty fresh. But it is really missing a nice hop character. Light fruitiness from the yeast is also noticeable.

Flavor has a pretty distinctive crackery malt that I have noticed in all of Henryk's beers. Lacks a crisp hop finish though and tastes more like a helles than a pilsner. Pretty decently crafted lager, and the freshness is certainly appreciated.
