Look: It pours brown with a tan head. Head retention is very good.
Smell: It has dark molasses like aromas with some roast. There is a very low licorice element.
Taste: There are some roasted flavors with dark molasses. There are some like licorice elements with dark cherry elements.
Feel: It has a medium body with a finish that is on the sweet side.
Overall, the sweetness is a bit much and the molasses is a bit much, but the flavors otherwise work together.

12oz brown bottle. Poured out an opaque, black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of roasted malt, chocolate, toffee and caramel. Sweet chocolate and toffee taste with some nice coffee notes.

Drank from the bottle in the Bahamas. Smells and tastes of roasted malt, coffee grinds, brown sugar, chocolate, black licorice, caramel, light char, smoked malts or burnt wood, faint piney hops and metallic notes. The smoked malts bring nice burnt coffee, a light piney hop bitterness and plenty of smoky malt complexities. A solid stout for the style and one I'll definitely drink again while I'm down here.

Poured from a can in Marsh Harbour, Abaco, Bahamas.
The taste is of roasty malt and bitter, unsweetened chocolate. The body and carbonation are appropriate for this style.
This beer was a pleasant surprise. Even though its bitterness was almost above my threshold, it is a good example of the style.

33cl bottle poured into a tulip. This had a best by Jan 2014 stamp so this has some age on it and was beyond its freshness even before I acquired it. The brew appears black in color with a khaki head that fades leaving a full wall of lace.
The aroma is raisony with chocolate and milky oxidation. As it breaths a little some mild indication of soy becomes evident.
The taste is also oxidized with milky chocolate, soy and raisons. Mildly roasty and really more fruity feeling than anything.
This is medium to light bodied with a modest amount of carbonation. Peculiar offering but not bad. It has a familiarity about it that is very comparable to Guiness export...kinda.

Poured from a brown 11.2 oz. bottle. Has a black color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is strong of chocolate, some roasted malts. Taste is chocolate, some coffee, roasted malts, tasty. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall a good quality beer that exceeded my expectations.
