I don’t know what to think of this beer. It is NOT a hefeweizen. On the front I taste no malt. On the finish all I taste is sour. I see some reviews saying it’s sour and some saying it is sweet banana and clove. So maybe it’s inconsistent. But I don’t know. I’m ok with a twist on a theme. But this is so far away that I can’t say it’s that.

this is appallingly underrated in my opinion, unless its changed a whole lot for the better recently, i just dont get it. i loved this, and reckon i may have found my go to summer drinker in this one. a gorgeous and simple earthy dry wheaty fluffy hefeweizen base with just a hit of jasmine tea, to me more jasmine than any tea element, but its delicate and springy and in full bloom, the essence of the jasmine flower itself, modestly dosed it shows up all in the finish, but is amazingly compatible with a well restrained yeast profile on this that sprinkles in nuances of ripe banana and green pear, and with the simple cereal character of the wheat, it gives it life and depth and really makes this exciting. pale golden colored with a tall white head and really persistent lively carbonation. there is a light peppery element to the yeast that comes through before the floral jasmine hits, and then the mild but distinctive and very natural jasmine takes this to a special place, its not perfume-like or forced at all, and the synergy with the yeast is insane. truly impressed by this, i also love the vibrant texture and the low alcohol, a wonderful drinker indeed and i am excited for the rest of the six pack this weekend. i will without question be buying this again, one of the better wheat beers ive had in some time!

Look: Semi-opaque deep/dark orange with a nice head forming quickly, then pulling back to a thin layer leaving good lacing behind
Aroma: Warm wheat bread, jasmine flowers, fruity esters abound, and a little clove too
Taste: Follows the nose well but more pronounced. Huge wheat notes up front joined quickly by strong jasmine flower tea notes. Those two take turns dominating the flavor profile before clove closes things out. Very soft on the finish
Mouthfeel: Full but definitely on the lighter side. Medium carbonation and silky and smooth throughout
Overall: A refreshing spin on a typical wheat ale and I think the jasmine tea works with the wheat and yeast profile very well. My favorite beer from these folks (that isn’t retired) and a great warm weather companion. Delicious

Hazy gold with almost no head. No lacing either.
Smell is pleasant and tea like.
Taste is slightly sweet bread crust with a touch of hops at the end.
Mouthfeel is light with low carbonation. The finish is barely sweet and wet.
Overall an interesting beer. I have a hunch this was an old can. I will try to find something newer.

This is a light brew that goes down well and has the slightest taste of jasmine. I wish it was more rich and sour and or sweet. Its an easily pleasable beer for those who like tbe standard wheat beer with a tad sweetness and hop after taste.

Apple juice colored with 20% opacity, fluffy head that is smaller than most but retains its density quite well. No lace.
Smells of banana, rotten banana, washed wheat, and clean water. Faint orange squirts too.
A surprising amount of juicy orange in the flavor, with banana accents and just more juiciness. Tangy yeast overwhelms the profile with a light sour character but more zing than anything. Malts and wheat also make a formidable wall.
Mostly a carbonated feel, medium bodied but zero creaminess. Semi dry and crisp finish.
Jazzy is probably a good adjective for this beer. It's juicy and wild and probably full of mistakes, but it comes together beautifully and has tons of soul. I'd drink this again.

Poured from 12oz can into a dimpled mug.
Appearance: cloudy yellow hue with a light effervescence and a finger of frothy white foam atop. Not bad.
Smell: lightly wheaty and lightly jasminey. It is subtle and has some too-earthy undertones but it actually kind of works for me.
Taste: the tea and the wheat don't really play together. The jasmine emerges sweet end enticing from the earthy mess underneath, but as interesting as it is it's not enough to redeem this beer. Points for originality.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a big carbonation and a decently smooth creaminess. Not bad.
Overall: this beer is a bizarre experiment. It's not a terrible beer, but it's hardly a successful one either.

Very little foam when poured into the chalice. Clear light amber color. Quite sharp on the tongue with plenty of carbonation in the mouth. Slight beery aroma. Fruity and slightly malty flavor.
The initial few tastes give the impression of a sourish odd sort of wheat beer that has something unaccountably wrong with it. Then I read the fine print. The aftertaste does finally taste like jasmine tea. Reasonably drinkable, but I am not convinced this is something you should do to a Hefe that might have been fairly tasty. From the 12 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station in Bellingham, Washington.

This is pretty far from a Hefe. Pours almost clear deep straw color, not much head. Aroma is sweet malt and some candied sugar. It has similarity to a dubbel, but pale. Weird and not very drinkable.
