Pours brilliantly clear without much foam; the small head fades quickly. Smell is sweet malt and restrained German hops. Taste is more of the same, a nice hop flavor that is overshadowed by sweet malt. Light and refreshing but finishes a little too sweet. Overall, nice and easy-drinking but needs a smidgen more hop character to balance things out.

Deep yellow-gold clear czech pilsner. I really liked the smooth, light, crisp. clean taste.

On tap poured into a pint glass.

Pours a very clear yellow with a fluffy two finger head. Nose is crisp and fresh with a bit of sulfur.

Taste is very light and sharp with a decent but light hop bite. Pilsner malt balances it well. It's a decent beer.

On tap at Vermont tap house, Williston, VT. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a soft clear yellow color with a nice transparency about it. Carbonation could be seen rising at a moderate pace. Bar pour’s head. The smell had some sweet semi-corn-like malts up front. Light bubble gum, some breadiness. The taste was mainly the same with a sweet aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat light on the body with a nice sessionability as it should be. Overall, good for what it is, definitely leans towards the German side of the pilseners not the Czech.

From the 16 oz. can with no noticeable canning or expiration date. Sampled on November 24, 2016.

It pours a golden yellow with a lot of bubble carbonation leading up to a modest white head. PIlseners are supposed to look like this.

Pleasant German toasted bread and biscuit character n the aroma and a feint grassy hop note.

Light to medium body.

The taste is sweet and bready, which is what I expect in the style, and a clean and mildly dry grassy finish. Pilseners are pretty straight forward and Northshire does a nice job with it.

Not as crisp or clean-grained-tasting as I'd hoped - a somewhat mediocre entry into the genre. Fair enough with some grub, but not something I'd recommend to an aficionado.

Pours a crystal clear golden color with a half-finger of white head. The head is gone as soon as the pour was finished. Some minimal lacing.

The aroma brings plenty of sweet bread, with a wet, grassy note from the noble hops.

The taste follows the nose. Sweet, grainy bread, followed by the noble hops. There's some faint banana and spice on the finish.

The feel is medium-light bodied with moderate carbonation. Crisp and refreshing.

Overall, a good all-around pils. It does absolutely nothing new for the style but it's still a solid, refreshing beer.

On draft at Splash, Burlington, VT.

Poured a bright straw hue with a one finger frothy white head. There was good retention and lacing.

The smell featured round pilsner malts and a vibrant noble hop.

The taste consisted of crisp yet soft bready malts highlighted by a green leafy noble hop spice.

The mouthfeel was typical of the style.

Overall a very well made pilsner.

Malty and crisp like a pils should be. A little cloying maybe? Quite clear. Not as carbonated as if expect.
