Nice 2-3 finger head with a broad array of larger bubbles popping across the surface causing dimples, fairly openly knit frothy, cream white in hue, very good retention and leaves a thin band around the glass at the dissolve starting point. Mildly hazy copper orange colored liquid, you can see a fine particulate suspended in the glass, the bubbles have average activity and tend to cling near the glass sides. The nose puts a focus on the tangerine, orange citrus yet this steadily fades in favor of damp leafy matter, pine tar and rock salt, plenty of juiciness in the nectarine, peach, mango, papaya fruit scents, dankness does not take the fun out of it, some bread crusts and light touch of pretzel dough. Medium-bodied, big creamy initial foaminess fills the mouth but there’s no “bottom” to carry it further. On the sweet side, concentrated and sugary quality to the apricot, peach, guava, pear fruit. The pink grapefruit, tangelo citrus likewise sweet and latches onto the caramel element. The herbaceousness steps back some. So, here it is biscuit and bread crust which gives it spine and there is also a nice pepper/salt mix, something like basil leaf. High degree of drinkability.

Had on tap in a snifter glass at The Mission in Pittsfield, MA. Look is an attractive hazy orange. Smell has a nice peach/apricot nectar quality. The flavor is very interesting and similar to the smell, but I'd add pear in there for the taste. I rated the taste relatively lower because, for me, there was a a little too much sweetness and a perfume-like aftertaste. Low hops for an IPA in my opinion. Feel on the tongue was low in carbonation, sweet, and syrupy, complementing that peach/apricot/pear quality nicely. A creative and very good beer, even though I generally gravitate more towards pine/spruce hops in IPAs.

Had on tap. Pours hazy, orange-yellow in color with 1/2 inch head. Taste is big peach puree with underlying pineapple and biscuit. Medium bodied and sweet. Makes for a tasty New England style IPA. First beer from Amherst for me and it keeps me interested and wanting to try others.

16 oz. Can from the brewery 7.3 % abv.

Hazy, opaque straw golden color with light amber hues. A thick, bubbly and lacy white foam cap shows of it's staying power. Total coverage throughout.

Sweet fruits, tropical and juicy hops aroma, citrus and banana, mango and pineapple. Yes, seriously ftuity complexity. A sweet, bready, honey soaked malt delivers even more pungent aromatics.

A Full bodied, lush sweetness in both body and taste. Massive tropical fruits with , once again, banana and mango sweet hops, mild citrus, lingering pineapple and mango fruitiness. A bit of a relaxed, heavy and mellow mouthfeel, slight lack of zip and carbonation. Almost cask feeling. Still, the complexity in hoppy flavor is excellent. Sweet, honey, bready malt brings it all together for a decent balance, but certainly hop forward. A very mild bitterness from a grapefruit and tangy effect. Juicy, juicy and more juicy!! Jess=juicy. Ooohh.

Had this at the Valley Brew Fest. Served in a sampler size glassware provided by the festival. The beer had a cloudy orange appearance with a decent sized head through the glassware. Very good aromas of spiced hops and a mix of citrus flavors. Pretty good taste that follows the nose; a little bitter with a hop punch to it. Good body and carbonation. Overall, a nice IPA from ABC.

Solid all the way. Lack of reviews is the reason for the lower average scores. I got this with the Juliette. Both great. Go get some
