A flight inspired beer while looking at planes land at Logan might be undefeated. I first had this lovely hop concoction in an oversized glass at the Hanger Pub in Amherst before a BU—UMass hockey game. Fast forward to one of the first warm spring days of the year, this is a delightful beverage to enjoy as the sun fades on an early May night. While Katie is better, this holds up and is delicious in its own right.

First Amherst Brewing beer. Poured into pint glass, paired with chicken-flavored ramen noodles, as I have to excuse buying a 15 dollar 4-pack by my dinner only being 20 cents.
Straw-gold in color, two-finger head, scattered lacing. Pleasant oaty smell. You can taste the hops, but it's not punch-you-in-the-face bitter. It's sweet, a little citrusy. PERFECTLY carbonated, wonderful fine carbonation, light and smooth and delightful on its way down. I agree with another reviewer that it's very easy to drink. A good IPA for someone who's not really tried them before, maybe. An introductory IPA. Pleasant beer, good beer, a 7.3% alcohol volume that I really did not expect at all. Will buy from this brewery again.

Pours cloudy yellow gold with a foamy off white head that faded slowly and left nice foamy lacing. Tastes and smells of orange peel, grapefruit, tangerine, lemons, biscuit, caramel, faint floral notes, citrus hops and light peppery spices. Good stuff.

One of the smoothest least harsh and most delicious IPAs I’ve tasted. Tropical and domestic fruit aromas and flavors with honeydew melon, guava, and mangosteen predominating. Scarily easy to drink

Poured from a can dated 6/3/20.
Looks good, a cloudy pale orange with some thick lacing.
Smell and taste are pretty hoppy, with citrus and pine and tropicals. A light toasty caramel in the malts.
Full bodied, substantial and a mix of juicy/resinous, with a light spicy bitterness in the end to balance the earlier sweetness.
Overall very good, glad I picked it up!
