Tap at the brew pub.

No head thanks to a bad pour by the bartender, clearish tan almost amber like color.

Nose is almost nonexistant slightest hint of sweet malt just a touch of honey i think.

Taste starts a little better but not much, light vienna like fluffy malt and little toast, very little pilsner or lager flavors, alittle munich almost. A bad wierd herbal flavor with earthy plastic-y hops and used to be sweet honey but now tannins and bleh. Not even sure how to describe the bad aftertaste, almost estery herbal slight fusel alcohol like unhappy lager yeast. Dry finish though, little bitterness. Ich

Mouth is lighter bodied little carb which is strange for a draft.

Wtf! Did they friggen lager this at 90 degrees? Ug this would be a drain pour if I wasnt in the restaurant, instead... pounding time! Worst American made pilsner I've ever had I think!

L: Pours a clear golden yellow woth a short and light white colored head that laces the glass a bit on the way down.
S: Smells of sweet honey, lightly toasted malts, and a nice almost sweet citrisy aroma at the end of the nose.
T: Tastes like the smell except a little more bitter than the nose let on. Sweet toasted malts followed by a slightly less honey flavor and rounded off at the end with a nice bitter finish from the hops and some of the malt.
M: Very fresh, crisp, right amonut of carbonation.
D: Very drinkable, Id say this is a session beer for sure.

Had this one at the ABC. The beverage had a clear-golden appearance with a medium head which cleared fairly quickly. The aromas had faint honey smells while an equal footing of slight hops were also apparent. The drink is in general pretty sweet but a little too watery. However, the Honey Pilsner does have a decent carbonation allowing it to be pretty refreshing. Overall, its a bit thin but pretty refreshing and lite.

on-tap 7/13/07

AP: a sparkling clear honey amber color with a lively look. A small white head is formed when it forst arrives but quickly dissipates to just about nothing.

Nose: honey-sweet malt, dry bread, herbal, musty hop and yeast.

flavor & feel: a light, crisp and clean honey bread flavored malt that is pretty delightful and balanced with a mild musty yeast and a very subtle herbal and simple hop. The finish was rather clean.

DA: I could sit here all day long with this.

I was pretty surprised by this one, a pleasant beer to drink. Clear pale gold with a frothy white heaad. Low sweet grainy aroma. Medium mouthfeel. Tastewise pretty smooth with low grainyness (surprise!). There's a touch of sweetness in the finish. Not a wow beer, but inoffensive.

dark yellow with orange highlights. first pour yields a huge, uncontrollable foam. second pint not so much. perfectly carbonated on a medium level. looks refreshing.

smells sweet, but not particularly honey-esque. taste reminds me of abita golden in its adjunct corn flavor with healthy hop and spice additions. finishes clean and crisp with something of an almond aftertaste. some hop bitter notes come close to affecting the a/t but it doesn't linger. very drinkable and a crowd-pleaser, especially on these 80 degree days.

went well with my meat and potatoes supper. for an adjunct lager, top of the heap. girlfriend says, "tasty".

Enjoyed at the brewpub. Presented in a pint glass.

White 1/2" head on top of this golden honey shaded brew. Slight honey aroma. The taste exhibits a crispness expected of a pilsner, yet tempered by honey sweetness, as the brew's name would indicate. An interesting and successful combination, which provides for an excellent mouthfeel and drinkability. Another easy summertime drinker, for sure.

Not too impressed with ABC's Honey Pilsner. It had a fake Honey taste too it.A good crisp mouthfeel. The color was a light yellow.Very dry and bitter in the finish.I'm not a fan of Pilsners and this didnt change my mind.I really didnt taste any honey at all,but rather a fake or feeble attempt at a honey flavoring.
