750ml bottle poured in a Hill Farmstead oversized wine glass.

A~ glowing copper with a huge head and a lot of lacing.

S~ peppery/bready saison yeast up front followed by orange zest and an amazing earthy hop presence.

T~ extremely floral and a tons of hops up front, earthy, fresh cut grass, citrus, as well as other tropical fruit. saison yeast comes in mid pallet bready, funky, peppery goodness with a crazy lingering orange zest after taste.

M~ the hops really dry this out which was expected but its super drinkable and refreshing. great carbonation as well.

O~ one of my favorite farmhouse pales for sure! i can't put a finger on what hops they used in this but wow does it work! i'm excited to see how this ages, i expect some tartness! this is the perfect brew to drink fresh then every couple of months. the aging is sure to blow your mind!

Thanks to Joe for this one!
Pours a hazy pale golden orange, ample foam and plenty of sticky lace.
Aroma is dry and funky with Brett yeast that delivers wet hay and saddle leather. Definitely throwing off a rustic impression.

Taste is tart with some citrus peel, hop grassiness, and dry yeasty character. Bone dry finish with lingering traces of Brett. Yeast tends to dominate. Light to medium bodied, easy to drink. Good all around, no flaws. Simple and harmonious.

Got this beer as an extra in a trade for whalezbro!

First off, this beer looks like piss. It literally looks like someone's pee who is severely dehydrated. It smells like a light saison. slight sour taste with a bland following. nothing really stands out here.

Overall this beer just left me confused as to what it was trying to be. blending styles doesn't seem to really work out very often. Hill farmstead continues to disappoint me. I have absolutely no idea how this brewery gets so much love.

Thanks mark for the brew and teal glass, enjoyed from said glass.

a - brew pours a really nice murky orange with a very foamy frothy head. Fairly attractive. Great lace on the glass.

s - nose is soft citric with a nice malt backbone and that hill farmstead well water type of smell that you find in all of their brews. Definitely a pale vs an IPA...surprised the dry hopping doesn't give a bigger hop presence. Has a nice Belgian saison grassiness to it

t/m/o - taste opens with soft bubble gum notes and is then glazed over with a hoppy orange peel tangerine with a squeeze of lemon. Easy drinking and a bit of a departure from the typical pale and typical saison...really a crossover of the two. Very refreshing...the dry hopping shows itself on the finish with some soft bitterness and a nice citric kick. Very enjoyable.

Boy that smells great with moderately strong, tropical fruit and citrus hop aromas blending with the peppery and light colored fruit esters of a Saison. There flavor reflect the nose with a tropical fruit tartness upfront, medium pepper spice and a medium bitterness dominating. A bone dry finish with a citrusy bitter aftertaste.
